Hobi wasn't sure how much time had passed but after the two boys had left the time moved fast and slow at the same time.
He felt his stomach hollow in hunger and his throat was dry but he still didn't move an inch. A while ago another boy came in with a voice that didn't sound too familiar but he knew it was one of the brothers. They left something on the table next to the bed he was on but he had to open his eyes to see what it was.
In reality he had already accepted that it was safe where he was. He trusted Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung and their other brothers sounded just as good. He was worried about Jungkook since he had not heard his voice yet or heard them speak about him but he was also sure that he was okay, his family would have cared for him first thing the moment he came out through the window.
The fact still stands that he needs to start opening his eyes and start figuring things out while being 'awake' yet the fear is clinging hard onto him. He doesn't want the first time he opens his eyes to be the moment their parents get home knowing he would face two strangers that would be in charge of what happens to him from now on. He needed to figure it all out before to know what was going to happen and if he could find safety where he was or not.
With deep breaths he tried to calm his heartbeat as he relaxed his hands against the soft blanket right before forcing his eyelids open. It was a hard task as the sleep in his eyes crusted at the corners from how well he slept for the first time in his life and he needed to adjust to the light in the room once again.
His eyes were blurry for a short while but when it cleared out he sighed in relief and got ready for his next step in being awake and taking in his new environment. He experimentally tried to sit up but felt his body sink back into the softness of the matress that was clearly elevated from the floor. He turned his gaze towards the table beside him and he was happy when his neck felt much better.
The sight of a plate filled with various fruit or which he thought was fruit and a glass of water captured his attention. He strained his eyes trying to look at it from his position but it was easier said than done. His stomach grumbled and ached at the sight of it and all warning signs that lit up in his mind got squished just as fast as it appeared from hunger.
Hobi guessed that there was worse ways to go than food poisoning and honestly he couldn't move his sore body at all so in the end the food didn't scare him much. The water even looked clearer than the water he usually got to drink so it was slightly more appealing and the fruit looked like nothing he had ever seen before and the only reason he knew what it was, was because he had one or two days a year where he got fruits or something nice when he behaved well for a long amount of time.
Now he was just given it so...randomly for no reason? Was it because he listened when Jungkook asked him to come with?
Something felt off about the thought since he knew the three brothers never gave him everything as rewards and just gave it as gifts as they called it since they said they cared alot for him. A small smile threatened to break out at the memories that popped up but he sucked in a deep breath and pushed away the thoughts to focus on the moment.
"I need...I need to figure out w-what to say" His voice sounded rough and small to his own ears. The burn in his throat was terrible while speaking so he crossed out the need to speak when not necessary before he tried to test out which volume hurt him the least.
In the end whispering helped the most which was an even lower tone than when he spoke to Jungkook but he knew it would take a while before his throat would heal fully and it would possibly be painful to eat some foods but he really wanted to try the food that was left for him.
With his mind locked on his target Hobi pushed his strength into his arms and hands to and push him upper to just be able to be in a more sitting position than lying before he could attempt the water or food.
