Chapter 32

I woke up this morning,it was fajar time and zara was asleep,there was still some more time so i didn't wake zeya up and instead I freshened up, performed wudhu and left for prayer,by the time I came home Zara and mom weren't home.
Later found out that they hand gone out for a run.

Sometime later we had gotten ready and were going to the office, me zara and zaid left, around 25 minutes or so I think we reached the office the work was going well alhamdulillah but it was a little stressful but we could manage it.

There were some dealers coming in this week so we had to prepare for the meeting and as I said it was rly stressful but I think if we all work together we can do it,like I think half way through we're done.so things got a little calm just then i noticed zaid calling, i was busy so I just declined his call but he kept on calling again and again.

So i picked it and when he spoke my phone hit the ground i ran as fast I could coz he said Zara fainted,ya Allah this girl she doesn't even take care of her self always put others first, and no matter what condition she's in works always her priority, as I reached the department i saw her lying on the floor and zaynab and few others were tryna waking her up while others where just starting blanking.

I did what I was supposed to do I carried and took her to my cabin knowing that I've got all the attention on me,i took her to my cabin,i checked her pulse and BP it was normal and just she was little worked out and needed a little rest,so i laid on the sofa in my cabin and placed my coat on top of her.

After a few hours she woke up,i couldn't help but smile coz she looked so cute all clueless,I walked up to her and yes I did scold a little coz she knows she's wrong that she worked herself out too much but still quitely listened to what I said,bfr allowing her to go I said,if she stresses herself again and this what happened today ever does happen again I'll have to remove her.

She understood the situation and didn't say anything,now I felt bad for scolding but she has to know right that she shouldn't work herself out. She walked Outta the room when momma's call came she said that herself zohra,zaid and dad were going out somewhere and will return tmrw and it's just gonna be me and zara in the home.

Just as I cut the call,I could hear commotion outside so I went to check it, I could see many ppl outside but my eyes went only to Zara's and they had tears in them, that's it i lost it,who dares make my wife cry, that's it I'm making this public whether people like it or not I don't care.

I just in my old cold tone said: one more word against Zara aka MRS ZARA ZAYAN HAKIM and you are fired, and with that I left the room doing something I said I wouldn't but time it forced me to do it and what I did i don't regret it coz I've made it official.

As I reached back my cabin, Zaynab knocked and came in and said Zara wanted to leave early and that she left and asked me to inform ya becoz she didn't want to talk rn.

I felt bad coz I wasn't there for her, so i quickly finished up my work because i wanted to see my wife, but literally why does this happen I gotta call regarding the meeting that it needs to be kept on Friday as Saturday they are busy.

So i again had to hurry and complete stuff and I looked at the clock it was around 9 pm and I've had enough,i have to get home at this point she's all alone at home.

So i sat in the car and drove it as fast as i could, i reached home but the lights were off, is she asleep or did something happen to her again I was climbing the stairs when I heard her scream,i ran as fast as i could i opened the door room she wasn't there, i checked the bathroom
She was there sitting on the sink holding something.

I went close to her and she hugged me so tight that it felt so good i broke the hug and asked her what happened and she said: We're gonna be parents!!!

Whaaaat,idk how I was in tears i hugged her back,she slowly got down and showed me the test, it should two positive lines meaning that we are expecting.

I quickly freshened up performed wudhu and prayed shukrana prayer along with Zara. Subhanallah! The tears i couldn't stop then from rolling out.
I once again hugged her and said tomorrow we'll be going for checking.

I asked her if we could tell our parents about this but it was already late like around 10 so we decided to tell them tmrw. We were so tired that we had dinner and again Zara was vomiting, probably its coz of the pregnancy, i couldn't help but feel sad that she has to go through this.

After dinner we prayed our Isha prayer and slept, Zara was very sleepy she fell asleep but for me the happiness wasn't allowing me to sleep. Like literally there's gonna be a mini me or mini her and he or she's gonna call me Dada aww how sweet,i was so lost in thoughts and sleep eventually took over me.

I woke up late today, as my alarm didn't ring and i quickly went to the mosque,Zara also woke up and she also was praying her fajar salah.
Around 7 am i returned back home and saw that my parents had returned. I went and greeted them only to be surprised by my grandparents they also had come I was so happy.

Mom was looking tired from the journey but that didn't stop her from making breakfast everyday no matter what,she made macaroni again my fav dish and we all sat down at the breakfast table.Since i took a day off today i decided to go for a casual outfit and so did Zara she was wearing a casual outfit.

Zara sat down next to me and i couldn't help control myself i stood up Makin everyone's attention towards me.

Everyone looked clueless but still waited till I spoke and then i announced that we were expecting, i could see Zara turning pink but ammi was so happy she got up from her seat went straight to Zara and hugged her, it looked rly like mom hugging her own daughter and everyone came and congratulated us.

Later during lunch,we had invited Zara's family and they joined us so even we disclosed the news to them as well,they were so happy and again showered us with duas and blessings.

Later that day as I booked the appointment yesterday, today we were going to the doctor's we had it checked and zara was 2 months pregnant,we took an ultra sound and there was tiny bean moving inside.
