"Sa'yo ba 'tong condom?"
That's the first thing I told him when we first met in our freshmen year. Matapos 'yon ay hindi na ulit kami nag-usap.
I didn't mean to offend or embarrass him. It's my first day in college back then, and I thought bringing condoms was normal for college students.
Narinig ko kasi mula sa mga classmates ko noong high school na swerte raw ang naidudulot ng condom sa wallet. So, I assumed he was keeping it with a justifiable reason.
Here's what happened back then...
Naglalakad ako sa cafeteria noon nang biglang may bumangga sa'kin. He didn't even say sorry, and it's totally fine with me. At some point, I knew it's my fault. Hindi ko rin kasi ugaling tumingin sa dinadaanan ko dahil lagi akong naka-iwas sa tingin ng ibang tao.
After I bumped into him, I saw something fell from his pocket. It was the strawberry flavoured condom.
Dinampot ko 'yon at sinubukang ibalik sa kanya, ngunit dahil sa mga nagtatawanang estudyante sa paligid namin ay hindi na niya ito kinuha. He gave me an intense look and stormed out from the cafeteria.
Unfortunately, I still have his condom with me.

Actually, I couldn't blame him for treating me like an invisible because I chose to be one. I was far different from him, he always had everyone's eyes and ears while I was sitting in the corner alone.
By the way, I'm Clayton Marshal, a wallflower, and I'm talking about River Axel Salvatore, the most famous and wealthiest guy in Rio Grande University.
