It's been a week since Westley told me that Clayton left the country. I couldn't believe it, so I still tried my best to reach him. I never skipped from calling him everyday, but it seemed like he already blocked me from his Pixietalk account.
Even Mr. Lav was nowhere to be found. Wala na rin ang mga gamit niya sa kanyang kwarto at opisina, at tulad ni Clayton ay hindi ko na rin siya matawagan. I didn't know what had happened, and I was dying everyday to know the truth.
"Still no update?" Beatrix asked as she sat at the couch. We're at the Fortune Manor.
"Nothing," I responded.
Alex crossed her arms. "Not even a single message and call?"
I shook my head and said, "No."
"Mukhang wala talaga siyang balak na ipaalam sa atin kung nasaan siya," saad ni Thara.
"Ano kayang nangyari at bigla na lang siyang nawala?" nagtatakang sabi ni Oswald.
"Hindi ko rin alam," sagot ko.
Alex stared at me. "How about Mr. Lav? Nakausap mo na ba siya?"
"We still haven't met until now," I answered and looked at Daven. "How about you, did Westley mentioned anything to you?"
"Nothing," he replied.
"Why would Westley say something to Daven, are they close?" asked Beatrix.
"Because they're a thing," I responded flatly, which widened everyone's eyes.
"A thing?" Beatrix reacted and looked at her cousin. "Wait! What? Westley and you are dating?"
Daven seemed he wanted to deny it, but he was put on the spot. He casually talked to me when he confessed me that he's dating Westley, so I thought revealing about it to our friends wasn't a big issue.
"Thanks for doing the confession for me, River," Daven said full of sarcasm.
"So it's true?" Oswald asked.
Daven stared at him with bored eyes. "Yes, just like River and Clayton, and Thara and Alex."
Thara snapped him a look. "You knew?"
"Of course," Daven answered. "Mas nauna ko pa ngang nalaman ang tungkol sa inyo bago natin nalaman ang tungkol sa relasyon nina Clayton at River."
"Wait a minute!" Beatrix said aloud and stood from her seat. She looked at Alex and Thara with a confused face. "You two are also dating?"
Alex rolled her eyes and sniffed. "Yes, we are."
Muling napaupo si Beatrix habang nakahawak sa kanyang noo. I could see from her face that her mind was blowing in frustration. "We've known each other since we were young, but it turned out that I'm the only one straight in our group?" she said in hysteric.
