Kate was gathering her keys and wallet excitedly. She couldn't even enjoy her morning matcha she made, as she was full to the brim with excitement because Kara would be landing in Iowa today. Three weeks went by so quick. Kara would be landing soon. Kate and the girls finished practice about two hours ago, and now Kate is just waiting for Kara to text when she lands. Some of Kara's boxes of items were shipped here like clothes, soccer gear, and some appliances. All things that would become useful in their house.
While Kate was already dressed in shorts and Iowa basketball shirt, hair still wet from showering, her teammates were watching her from their living room area of the apartment, amused faces on all of them. Caitlin was still getting some of her stuff moved out in her room before she moved in with Kylie Feuerbach since she didn't have a roomie in her apartment.
Jada spoke up.
"Kate, you haven't stopped humming since we've gotten here," laughed Jada, only earning a smile from Kate. She's still in her own world.
"Am I? Didn't notice," shrugged Kate, looking at her phone that had just pinged.

"KARA IS HERE!" yelled Kate excitedly before gathering her keys and wallet, and jetting out the door. Jada, Gabbie, and Monika just laughed it off.
