MePhone4 did his best to ignore how his heart ached, or how his breath was consistently erratic. Which isn't good for his systems, the whole breathing thing exists in his functions so that it can help prevent overheating. This rapid breathing isn't good as, he has been warned before that it can cause the opposite effect. However, has he ever listened to anyone? No...
MePhone4 clutched onto his knees tighter, pulling them closer to his screen. He sighed, paying no mind to the dried up digital tears that still pricked at the corners of his eyes.
MePhone4 focused on the room.. even if it was so.. painfully dark..
He didn't like looking at the corpse in the room..
Was he a corpse? Mecintosh did say that he was alive.. just trapped... like MePhone4... he could sympathise.. even if he usually struggled to.
Is that his future?
Probably...
Mecintosh was in a sleep mode, the computer's screen a deep dark black.. it always was that colour, but it didn't have the extremely pixelated green face. So MePhone4 could tell the difference.. at least he hoped he could..
He's an idiot, a dunce, a bogan, all the names under the sun that labelled someone with low intelligence, perfectly described who he was...
At least that's how Cobs would put it..
Suddenly movement snapped MePhone4 out of his trance, MePhone4 stared up beadily eyed. Blinking from how much light shone through as the door slid open.
It made a loud screech as it slid across the tile floors. MePhone4 glanced over at Mecintosh, as the computer blinked back on after his light sleep mode. Mecintosh eyed the robot that recently entered with apprehension. Mecintosh then quickly glanced over at MePhone4, meeting MePhone4's gaze, MePhone4 shrugged in response.
Acting oblivious to what was occurring, even though he knew full well what was happening. But MePhone4 was good at pretending, he was good at acting... one of the only good things he learnt whilst living at Meeple, under Cobs' cold care.
MePhone4 snapped back to reality as his arm was lifted up by a newer, stronger MePhone model. MePhone4 suppressed a gasp in pain as the robot held onto his right arm. With an unforgiving grip, as MePhone14pro hauled MePhone4 off the floor.
He really should have been paying more attention to MePhone14pro, otherwise the fellow MePhone wouldn't have had to manhandle MePhone4 like this.
MePhone14pro started to drag MePhone4 along, just after it got MePhone4 to his feet. MePhone4 resisted slightly, finding himself huff with annoyance.
"I can walk-"
"Orders- Cobs can't have you running off," The MePhone14pro cut him off, earning a scoff from MePhone4.
"To where exactly? I doubt escaping this hell hole will be as easy as it was last time." MePhone4 gritted his teeth, MePhone14pro put more pressure in its grip.
Continuing to pull MePhone4 down the maze-like hallways of Meeple. MePhone4 let himself zone out, relying on the MePhone14pro to lead him away.
Eventually fingers snapped in front of him, bringing MePhone4 back to this current situation. MePhone4 blinked rapidly, as the MePhone14pro presumably gave him a judging look. However it was hard to tell, as the other robot didn't really have a face displayed on it's screen.
The door to Steve Cobs' office stood before MePhone4 once again. The MePhone14pro nodded it's head, disappearing off deeper into the MeCloud. Leaving MePhone4 unattended, in front of a room he much rather run from.
