MePad's gaze followed Taco, watching her pace back and forth. Taco's face twisted up into a snarl, a common face she bore when she was deep in thought. MePad didn't mind at all about it, for that as these days progressed, MePad could feel his head become less clouded. Not as much bitter anger fogging up his judgement, he actually had the good sense to think properly. Maybe this distance from MePhone4 was good. Although- the thought of the other robot did result in a rising sense of resentment boil in his systems. So MePad opted to not think about MePhone4, he did this to himself... did MePhone4 even think about him up there? Or is the robot happy he left MePad... did MePhone4 ever care?-
MePad shook his head, he has told himself not to think about the deserter, yet here he was.. dwelling on the past like it was a recent dent in his metal. MePad groaned inwardly, refocusing his attention back onto Taco as she paced, hands on her face. MePad glanced over towards Floory- who had just arrived for his daily check-ups on MePad.
"How long has she been at this before I showed up?" Floory inquired, observing Taco's muddled down panic.
"Two hours," MePad sighed, deflating slightly.
"Damn- did you try to intervene?" Floory blinked.
"Yes- sadly she.. she's really zoned into whatever it is that's worrying her and- it concerns me," MePad mumbled, over these days.. as the fog lifted from his mind. MePad found himself sympathising more with Taco, sensing her frantic pain and hopelessness... it reminded him of someone.. but- he can't really put a foot on who.. (he doesn't have fingers or toes, what else can I use?!)
"Oh- what do you think is bugging Taco?" Floory continued on speaking, his attention loosely focused on Taco.
"...she- she wants to make things right.. but doesn't know how to," MePad sighed again, "I want to help her- but she hasn't been listening to me."
"Oh- yeah.. maybe she needs a push.." Floory muttered in response, looking like he would shrug if he could. MePad observed his mannerism closeky after Floory's statement, the Floor didn't seem too concerned with Taco's problems, more likely because he never was affected by them.
"A push?" MePad blinked, "how?"
"Dunno mate- uh- anyways- how have you been?" Floory changed the subject, sensing that the topic had run dry at that point.
"Oh- worried for Taco mostly.. and- trying to help her but- I don't think I'm doing anything right," MePad muttered, looking down at the grass he sat on.
"Oh- is that it? Just Taco? Have you had any interactions with anyone outside of Taco and I?" Floory asked, his tone sounded off.
"No," MePad admitted, "It'll be a weird to interact with any of the ex-contestants- plus- they have their own lives to live."
"Own lives- ok uh- you can still appear in their lives after the show.. you know that right?" Floory blinked, staring intently at the robot.
MePad nodded his head, "of course- but after every the show has brought- I personally would rather distancing myself from it.." MePad stated, "I would presume the former contestants would feel the same."
Floory eyed Taco before flickering his gaze back onto MePad, "eh- not everyone is."
MePad raised an eyebrow at this statement, following the direction of Floory's look, MePad quickly came to the conclusion of who he was referring to. "Floory- she- y'know uh- the show.. I-"
"No no- it's right mate- just- be careful, yeah?" Floory responded, cutting MePad off from coming up with a rambled excuse.
"Careful?" MePad echoed, "from what may I ask? I understand her reputation but- she hasn't been that bad."
