-Deep in my systems, I see them-

Rough calloused skin clasped around his smooth metal hand.. the flat plated walls of the MeCloud hallways blended together as MePhone4 was pulled along.. what day was it? More like what night.. the two turned a corner, passing down one long stretching corridor.. on the left of MePhone4 was a wall lined with the tallest windows, reaching up high above to the roof, whilst stretching down long enough to touch the floors. MePhone4 could hear the pitter patter of his feet as he walked across the tiled floors. However the robot stared out at the night sky..

His digital eyes searching the stars as they twinkled.. they looked so inviting.. like a home waiting for him to return... but there was so home out there for him, he's where he belongs, Cobs said so.. and there's no point to argue with his creator, otherwise Cobs would double down. MePhone4 repressed a sigh, as his gaze trailed over to stare at the silvery moon, it was full, a beacon of light against the pitch black abyss around it.

MePhone4 hadn't realised he was dragging his feet, lingering behind until Cobs tugged harder on his hands. Roughly jolting the phone forwards so that he stumbled, unbalanced, MePhone4 gasped out. Nearly tumbling over, luckily he had caught himself as he was forced along.. Cobs not even bothering to pay any mind to the robot's struggles.. his mind more concentrated on the road ahead and his destination..

MePhone4 removed his eyes from the windows and the blissful outside world as they finally passed them.. unable to lean his body back to gaze more, otherwise he'll face more of Cobs' brutality. MePhone4 continued to trudge onwards, allowing Cobs to show him the way.. the robot found it a bit pointless, he was sure he could find the area without Cobs' help. MePhone4 was pretty sure he knew the layout of the MeCloud like the back of his hand by now, it was his only home after all.. his true home-

At least.. he thought it was.. but a lingering grief and uncertainty always caused MePhone4 to stare.. longingly up at the night sky.. wondering amongst the stars, the constellations.. and even the moon itself.

MePhone4 flinched back, his body nearly running into Cobs as the corn man halted suddenly.. MePhone4 met his creator's gaze, his eyes scanning across the phone's body.. before Cobs let out a sigh. Reaching into his figurative pocket, Cobs pulled out a.. bowtie? A small pink bow, making MePhone4's systems churn with discomfort from the reminder of.. someone else he rather never think of again. Cobs ignored the robot's hesitation as he bent down to MePhone4's level. Placing the bow onto the bottom of MePhone4's screen, so that it covered his home button.. Cobs adjusted it, his hands working meticulously so that it would all be perfect. The man was being quite finicky with it, taking his time, readjusting.. readjusting.. before he finally pulled back, a satisfied smile plastered across his corn face.

"There you go 4," Cobs stated smugly, "all.. handsome looking, I suppose." Then Cobs chuckled, a smirk on his face as he shook his big foreheaded head...

MePhone4's mouth twitched into a frown, the bowtie was an exact pink that matched with the colour of his eyes.. as though Cobs planned ahead. But in hindsight, the CEO probably did, he does with all these things.. it shouldn't surprise MePhone4.

"Oh- don't give me that look 4," Cobs smiled, rolling his eyes playfully, "I was giving you a compliment, you should be happy."

"Right of course, silly me," MePhone4 huffed, his hands moving up to the bow, readjusting it himself..

This action seemed to tick Cobs off, as his creator swatted MePhone4's metal hands away from the piece of ribbon. Then Cobs proceeded to fix the bow up so it realigned with how he had it prior, "watch it 4. I had it perfect, don't go messing it up like everything else you do," Cobs grumbled, pulling away again, towering over the shorter phone.

MePhone4 raised an eyebrow before sighing, "I- i don't see a difference? Anyways- I could have done it all myself y'know." MePhone4 went to cross his arms, but the actions of his hands getting to close to the bow again made Cobs pull a face.. MePhone4 decided with his best judgement to keep his arms down.
