Sometimes it's hard to know until you've experienced things.

In Kana's case, a lot of her firsts seemed to be happening again, even if that wasn't really the case, everything felt like it when her memory was gone.

When it came to having Yuzuru in her bed, the experience was similar. All of the planning in her head couldn't even come close to how it felt to be there and experience it now. Yuzuru was everything she expected and more, he knew her body so well that it was impossible to doubt their past relationship.

In a way, she wasn't really ready for everything she experienced then, but one thing was certain, it didn't feel bad in the slightest.

Kana loved every single second of their time together and if anything, now laying on his chest as both of them recovered was an experience equally incredible.

"You're the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and that didn't change in the slightest" he muttered against her forehead, her cheeks blushing a deep red in reaction.

"Stop it!" she begged of him. "it's embarrassing to hear you say those things."

"Is it?"

"Yes!"

Feeling his chest reverberate as he laughed was a feeling she didn't expect to love but it felt so goddamn good that she wanted it over and over again.

A few moments of silence later, he started kissing the top of her head gently, showing her the affection she never expected to get from anyone in her life.

"Are you okay?" he eventually asked with concern quite evident in his voice.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Just making sure..."

"You worry too much."

Looking at his face, she couldn't help but smile at his beautiful and worried expression. Their connection was so evident that it was impossible to ignore.

"I just got you back, don't blame me."

Kana raised herself from him and kissed his lips while hovering over his body. Never in a million years could she expect to be like this with a man.

"I'm not leaving again." she said, a promise lingering in her tongue.

"Then why does it seem like you're about to leave this bed?" he teased her, pulling her to his lap in quick motions.

"I was thinking that one of us should be working on dinner... Unless you're planning to starve"

His eyes ran through her body and a smirk was clearly settled in his face and she knew what was on his mind.

"I wouldn't starve when I have such views"

Slapping his chest, Kana finally left that bed with a kiss on his lips, placing a loose shirt on her body and leaving the bedroom and the handsome skater on the bed.

His gaze was enough to make her hot and bothered but she still ignored it at that moment.

Sure enough, the mood to cook wasn't particularly high at that specific time, but she grabbed a few ingredients and considered for a few seconds what to make then.

Two strong arms suddenly enveloped her body, distracting her so easily that it was still surprising to her how they managed to hold on until then. Maybe they should've been in each other's arms all along, maybe she should've realized it sooner.

None of that mattered now when she had plenty of plans to make up for all of the lost time.

"What do you want to eat?"

"You" he said without a single doubt. Yuzuru knew very well what he was doing and wasn't hiding it in the slightest. One thing was certain, he managed to get her cheeks to flush every single time.

"Yuzu! Stop it."

"Okay, I promise I'm not usually like this..." he eventually said, realizing how horny he was sounding. In a way, he just wanted to make sure she was his, no matter what happened and his body seemed to be in high survival mode as he tried to get as much of her as he had missed for so long.

"I remember you weren't like this..."

Yuzuru stopped everything at that moment as he fully realized the implication of her words.

"You... remember?"

Kana hadn't told him at all but in the last few weeks, her dreams became more and more recurrent. As weird as it seemed, all the pieces seemed to gradually be placed together as each experience revealed more details of who she used to be and the way they had been together in the past.

Sure, there were still a lot of doubts and little spots to fill, but there was also no denying that she felt closer to him than ever before. Maybe it was even why she was feeling such a need for this man.

"I can't say I know everything but I've been remembering more and more as days go by. Maybe you were the secret all along."

"I just think you needed some ties to your past. It's hard to remember when you don't have anything to connect you to those times."

She knew now that he was quite right on this one particular thing and truth be told, nothing about it felt wrong or bad in any way.

"You know what? I think you're right."

He brightened up right away and she could feel all of his ideas come to life. It shouldn't even be a surprise when the man finally spoke what quickly settled in his brain.

"I have an idea..."

Just the way he said it was scary. Yuzuru was easily one to surprise her with his crazy way of thinking and she knew that side of his well enough to fear it.

"I'm scared..."

"Come on..." he started, not even giving her a chance to say anything about it until the next words left him. "I think you should go to Japan."
