CH-37: CRUISE

(JUNGKOOK POV)

I stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist, the steam following me like a warm cloud. Taking a bath had helped me clear my mind, but I couldn't stop smiling. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw her peaceful, sleeping face. Y/N.

I ran a hand through my wet hair, chuckling to myself. Today was going to be different. We weren't going to have our usual packed schedule of activities because Y/N wasn't feeling well enough. The incident had taken a toll on her, and we had postponed our departure to Korea because of it. So, instead of rushing around, we would just enjoy each other's company at the villa.

I got dressed, still smiling at the thought of her. Despite everything, she had a way of making even the toughest days seem brighter. I stepped out of my room, ready to head downstairs.

But i can listen to her right? 

But as soon as I closed the door behind me, I saw her. Y/N was trying to get out of her room and head downstairs too. Her legs looked weak, and she couldn't walk straight. She was about to fall when I rushed forward and caught her.

Damn this woman.

Jungkook: Whoa, careful! You okay?

Y/N: (groans) Yeah, just...my legs are numb.

I held her steady, my heart racing.

Jungkook: You should've called someone. Come on, let's get you back inside. You really need to rest. No more trying to do everything by yourself, okay?

Y/N: (pouting) Jungkook, I've been cooped up in here for ages. I just want to go downstairs and enjoy the day with everyone.

Jungkook: (sighs, reluctantly) Y/N, you need to listen to your body. You're not well enough to go wandering around.

Y/N: (crosses her arms) I'm fine. Just a bit dizzy. I promise I won't overdo it.

Jungkook: (softens, realizing her determination) Okay, but only if you promise to take it easy. And I'll be right by your side, got it?

Y/N: (smiling) Deal.

Jungkook helped her to her feet again, this time more cautiously. He kept a supportive arm around her as they made their way downstairs together.

(Y/N POV)

We reached the living area where our friends were gathered. Hyejin glanced up from where she was talking to Jimin, concern flickering in her eyes.

Hyejin: Y/N, are you alright?

Y/N: (forces a smile) Yeah, just a bit dizzy. I'm fine, though.

Jungkook guided me to a comfortable spot on the sofa, refusing to leave my side. His presence was comforting, grounding me despite the lingering dizziness.

Hobi: (approaching with a concerned expression) Should we call a doctor?

Y/N: (waves him off) No, really, I'm okay. Just need to rest.
