“She's Hyunwoo's younger twin." The room fell silent. Seol met Yeon's gaze, a mix of emotions swirling within her - anger, sadness. Yeon left the room, Seol following close behind.
Yeon couldn't focus on Seol, her mind fixated on the single phrase: "She's Hyunwoo's younger twin." Seol approached Yeon and hugged her tightly, tears streaming down her face. "Yeon, you're my sister, my twin sister! She's lying," Seol pleaded.
"Yeon," Seol continued, "Do you believe HER? She's just trying to hurt us." Seol stepped back. "I need some time alone. I'm going somewhere, don't worry about me, I'll be okay."
Yeon held Seol's hands tightly. "Seol, please, just leave me alone for a while." Her voice cracked. "I don't have the energy to listen to anything right now."
"Promise me you won't hurt yourself," Seol pleaded.
"Promise," Yeon whispered, kissing Seol's cheek.
She sought solace in her favorite spot, a place that brought her peace. Lost in thought, her phone buzzed. An unknown number flashed on the screen. Hesitantly, she answered.
"Hello," she said. The voice on the other end sent a shiver down her spine. It was unmistakable.
"I want you to come back," the person said. Yeon scoffed. "I'm not your daughter, and why on earth did you call me?"
"Don't be disrespectful, dear. I know you know the truth now."
"Do you think I'll just listen to you?!" Yeon shot back.
"You have to... or your twin sister, well, I should say your supposed twin sister, and your family will be in danger."
A cruel laugh echoed from the phone. "Did I say something funny?"
"Don't you even think about touching them!" Yeon roared.
A picture message came through. Yeon opened it with trembling hands. Seol was sitting in the garden, oblivious to the sniper perched on the rooftop of a nearby building, his sights trained on her. Yeon gasped in horror.
"Don't hurt her," Yeon choked out. "I'll do whatever you want."
The voice chuckled. "Excellent... but perhaps you'd like a little preview first..."A gasp rippled through the Kim mansion. Jin stammered, "Y-yeonjoo... is that monster's daughter?" Jungkook echoed the disbelief, "I can't believe it! That Yeon can be that m-monster's daughter!" J-Hope tried to reason, "S-she may be a... uh... Ariana Butera, but she was raised by Mrs. Kim."
Suddenly, a panicked Seol burst through the doorway. Jisoo, eyes narrowed, demanded, "Where is Genovese Ariana?" Seol froze, her facade crumbling. Lisa pressed, "S-Seol... where is your twin sister? That half-monster?"
Seol scoffed. "A monster? Unnie, how can you say that about Yeon?"
Jimin shook his head. "Blood relation speaks, Seol. She may not be a monster now, but who knows when true colors show?"
Seol rolled her eyes, calling for Felix and Hyunjin. They entered, looking remarkably well for people who just supposedly had an accident. Felix inquired, "Where's Yeon?"
Seol sighed. "She's with Bella. The plan didn't go as expected."
Taehyung's brows furrowed. "Which plan?"
Hyunjin explained, "The whole thing - Seol's fake death, the twins controversy - it was all a trap for Bella. But I guess she's smarter than we thought." Mr. Kim chimed in, his voice heavy with disappointment, "Yes, it was a plan to expose Bella, but she seems to be a step ahead."
Jin stared, bewildered. "You were part of it too?"
