Donald and Melania went to bed together like any other night.

Until around four in the morning, Melania began having a nightmare. Donald was having a rally and got shot on stage.

With so much going on lately, the fear of Donald getting hurt by his enemies was thought about but nothing anyone ever said out loud.

Melania's nightmare continued til she woke up in a complete sweat and hyperventilating

Her fear went away quickly when she looked over at her husband, realizing she had him right next to her and he was more then okay

Even though Melania got herself back to sleep. The next morning, she still couldn't shake the feeling of fear and the dream just kept repeating in her head

She wanted to bring it up to Donald to talk it out, but she knew she couldn't get through it without breaking down in tears

Donald came in the kitchen for lunch from his office to see Melania staring at their wedding photos

"Whatcha lookin at" Donald snaked his arms around her body from behind, kissing her cheek

Melania turned in his arms, giving him a soft smile

"Twenty years this year baby. I love you more and more everyday" He smiled

"I love you darling. Twenty years married, twenty six if you count the six years before we got married. Best years of my life" Melania kissed him long and slow

"What's up with you today, you're being extra quiet and all attached. I love you being attached but I can tell something's bothering you. Come on sit down" Donald carried her to the couch

"Babe" Melania giggled

"What's bothering you" He asked softly

Melania once again got quiet while the dream came flooding back "Nothing, I'm fine"

"Now I know your not fine, talk to me" Donald put his hand on her cheek, smiling

Melania took a deep breath "Last night, I had the worst dream ever. You were on stage and let's just say you got hurt and that's just a complete nightmare for me. I woke up in a sweat and hyperventilating" Melania broke down in tears

"Hey, I'm here, I'm okay. It's okay. Breathe. Baby why didnt you wake me" Donald kissed her forehead softly

"I didn't want to wake you. I just never want anything to happen to you, I love you so much. And it is something I fear because I could never imagine losing you because of these crazy people" Melania whispered

"If you need me, you wake me. I'm safe, i promise. I know it's scary I can promise you that nothing will ever happen. I love you very much. Me and you always baby" Donald kissed her, laying Melania down softly on his chest

"Always, darling" She kissed him

"Come on, lay with me I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. We don't have to move. Baby needs some loving on" Donald kissed her neck softly as he massaged her shoulders

"If only the world sees you the way I do" She whispers in sweetness

"Some things are just meant for you and me" He smiled

"I love you babe" Melania said

"I love you very much baby" He kissed her once more

They both just spent the afternoon just cuddling, being together and enjoying it being the two of them
