"Wolf what happened?"

A voice calls out behind him, he knew that she would of been awake at a time like this, she was a light sleeper after all, turning around he could see that she was in her casual clothes with scruffy hair so she did get some sleep after all. Her glowing pink eyes showed worry on her face at the look Wolf was making while looking in the direction of the base that once shunned him away. Thrown him into the ocean to be eaten by the fish to wipe their hands of everything they had done.

Why would he want to go back and help them? she thought to herself, she heard some of the conversation overall behind the wall while Wolf talked on the watch but even she couldn't tell why would he want to go back. After all the others have said and done to him, they still didn't believe that he was innocent, they were still after his head so showing up were going to soar some people's faces.

However with how it sounded, it was urgent enough for him to pack his things and head over to the base to figure out what was going on. "Matthews reported in that some of the Griffin girls and Sector V troops have been infected with some kind of disease... it is not contagious but it is going to kill them", "Do you know what it is?" She asked inquisitively but the answer was written on the face of her friend.

He looked disturbed pondering the same question again and again, the project was dismantled almost a decade ago, there was no way it could of remerged, everyone from the project had died or had been arrested on the scene and all documents were supposedly shredded. Wolf was not sure but he knew he had to act fast or the infection would turn them into something that would not get out of their minds and as much as Wolf hated the rest he was not going to let them see it.

He looks to AK and puts his hands on her shoulder like he was about to give her a kiss but the look of his face was one of nervousness and a frown on his face. Was he really going to tell her the truth after just meeting her again after months of going missing, however it might of been better to tell the whole group of the situation, they were going to find out eventually. Both Evans and Abi had begun to have suspicions but he was certain that they were not going to expect this one.

"Wolf What are you doing?", "Follow me inside and I'll explain cause I don't know how to break this to you or the others....". The sudden fear in Wolf's voice made AK know that he was being serious to which she nodded to his demand so they went back in but it appeared as the others were already awake, ready to hear what Wolf had to say. Did they wake up because of the commotion? Wolf could not be sure.

He wasn't that loud after all when he was exiting the bunker or when he was talking to Matthews, AK only heard it cause she was sleeping with one eye open he knew that much at least. The others look at him with semi tired looks but they were worried for the worried look that Wolf was giving them. First he apologised to the others who wanted to go back to bed but he knew after this one he knew that they were going to wake up real quick.

To be condoned and condemned for who he was even if he couldn't help it, he didn't get the choice after all. The anticipation was reaching a climax with Evans looking to Wolf and starts the conversation of for him, it was all he needed to hear from his friend after all. "Wolf what happened?" 

"Matthews called me"

"What did he want to say?" He sighed as he took a deep breath in to carefully formulate the words to tell the others. "I received the call to a case of a few Griffin girls and Sector V troops suffering a suspicious illness that I know all too well". "Wolf your scaring us with the silence" Abi said looking even more worried for her friend. Just why would he know it all too well. Is this illness going to kill Wolf or something?
