Please don't kill my sister!

The Hunter pleaded in front of the lone operator who looks at him in total confusion. This is not like the usual hunter that had only one goal and that was to cause as much psychological trauma before killing you in the most brutal ways imagined. No... this hunter was different than the others that Wolf had come across and he began to see it.. he was a bit short and sounded like he was around his age.

Wolf looks behind the Hunter and couldn't believe his eyes. Under the bed blankets was a person who looked deathly ill, she had an IV bag next her and the heart rate monitor beeping away slowly. The sight of her was sad to Wolf that she was kept in a place like this without the proper medical equipment that she had required. He looks back to the hunter that had stretched his arms and legs and looked at Wolf dead in the eyes.

"You kill me and not her, we clear?" The voice was demanding as a final plea for Wolf to not kill her and take him instead but looking at her being deathly ill like the Grim Reaper was going to take her as the next victim on his death waiting list he was going to make sure that he could get her off the list as fast as possible...But what could he do? The only place with the medical facilities capable of healing her would be the combined forces base.

But going back there was risky and he would rather not draw that kind of attention... it sounded selfish in his mind but he wasn't going to let one life out way everyone else's because she was deathly ill... but those eyes behind those masks were pleading every last moment. He was frightened and Wolf could tell so he decides to look at him straight in the eye and orders him. "Lower your weapon Hunter and I'll lower mine, is that fair?".

For a sec Wolf was hopping that he was going to lower his weapon or this was going to turn into a tragedy but to his relief the hunter lowers his rifle and Wolf does the same.

One step closer

He thinks to himself as he looks to the Hunter who looks at his sister who was in a coma... if they didn't get help soon then she would be dead in a few days ,that both of them could tell. "We need to get you to the Combined forces base... they can treat your sister.", "Are you with them?" The Hunter asks the individual in front of him but there was a moment of silence between the two. 

It was enough to tell the hunter that it was more complicated than that but he wasn't going to press it if the soldier wasn't going to answer but in fact...he did. "I was once... but after a while I grew sick of the people there, too many people betraying each other that it wasn't an army like I used to know". "You must of heard of the Lieutenant Wolf incident right? It was a good show of what you are saying soldier".

The Hunter was a lot more calmer than he was before which was a relief to Wolf but he wasn't going to tell him his origin story since one they are running out of time and he couldn't afford to reveal his identify to someone who was or still is working with Dar and the rest of his henchman that want to cause even more havoc than before. "So if your not apart of the forces then how are you going to contact them?".

A fair point.... he couldn't just go on the radio like he did back in the day and request transport. He had to somehow get their attention through other means but knowing they have been patrolling the area it might not be as hard as he thought. "The names.. Ridge by the way", Wolf gives a small nod to the Hunter and introduces himself. "Ohio that is my name", "By any chance are you the person who has been crumpling other Siren bases and this one too?" Ridge asks quietly while looking back to his sister.
