Chapter SMOKE AND MIRRORS

The air freezes up around the two who have their swords at the ready as the Arbiter summons her rigging once again forming her original body. Her long silver green hair that waves in the cold blue mist around the two as she holds her hand forward at Wolf. The two look at each other with stares so cold that it felt like the whole place was going to freeze up and begin to snow. They stare into the hearts of each other with piercing stares, For Wolf he could see that it was a tainted heart bent to the will of the empress.

Her orders were absolute to fight Wolf and take him back to the Empress even though he had never met the lady in the first place. However something inside of him made him think that this was not the Siren's true desires, he could feel it in the Siren blood that courses through his veins harmonising with the enemies Siren blood. Even though he was not 100% Siren Blood he could feel a connection that he was sure that AK could not feel.

As for the Arbiter she could see something entirely different inside of the boy in front of her.. he truly was an enigma that needed to be unfolded bit by bit to find the truth behind the guy but there was one thing that she had noticed just like many before... he was empty inside but not in the way that he had no soul, it was like it was locked away by many other things that troubled the guy but she could tell.

That he knew

"Your quite the enigma Agent Wolf", "What can I say? thanks?" Wolf shrugged making her laugh giving a vicious smile to the guy. "Very well, I am known as The Hermit IX and I am here to take you down" Without warning she throws multiple chains forward that had a lantern on the end with a spike to boot, they spiral towards both Wolf and AK who split up by jumping to the sides of the place as the mist was affecting both of their minds. 

They could see the Arbiter but there were other versions of her around the place that had made it all the more harder to know if they were hitting the right one, but it wouldn't distract the Snow Wolf was easily compared to Wolf. "Wolf she's the one on the left in the far corner!" , "Right!" He dashes towards her cutting through the fake versions of her making her look at the two withy surprise and glee. 

"It seems I have underestimated the Snow Wolf's capabilities... I can see why Tester and Purifier fell to you " Wolf looked to AK in surprise but she payed the guy no mind since she was too busy looking at the enemy with her blade ready to have a slice at her. Wolf was not sure if AK was just trying to concentrate or she was upset with what Wolf said before, he didn't think of what he said was going to upset her but there was nothing he could do about it now.

All he had to do was make sure that him and her made it out alive to catch up with the rest but with no idea where the others were along with the constant blue mist that gets ejected from the lanterns had made it all the more harder to see her in the area with so much blue mist made it look like he was seeing her but it was nothing more than a bluff. "Wolf your slowing me down if you can't see her stand back and let me draw her out!".

Yeah...she was still mad at him so he decides to let her take the reigns for a bit to at least try and calm the Snow Wolf down but knowing AK, it was going to take more than that. She teleports through the blue mist swinging her blade ferociously at Hermit who avoids each slice with ease but with her chains being the way they are it made it almost impossible to hit AK for how close she was making her to resort to old primitive methods.

A fist flies out of nowhere with a crack behind it AK swings her sword in an attempt to slice the arm off but she was not fast enough leaving her with one last option to block the attack but upon noticing it was too fast she had no way to stop it. The fist slams into the side of her or was supposed to as a purple flash appeared making Hermit miss the swing, only to turn to see that AK reappears with her glowing pink eyes with a dagger in hand.
