AUTHOR POV

Late at night, around 11 PM, Rishabh Nirvana and Veer Kashyap were in Veer's office.

"Why the hell are you trying to scare me?" Veer snapped, pacing the office in frustration.

Rishabh leaned back in his chair, sipping his drink. His voice was calm, but his tone carried an edge of danger. "What's the problem, Veer?"

"What's the problem?" Veer echoed incredulously. "You said you'd deal with Narendra Thapar later. So why did you tell him to leave the country?"

"Ah, that," Rishabh replied, smirking. "I sent him out of the country, but my men are keeping an eye on him. When I need him, they'll bring him back."

Veer eyed Rishabh suspiciously. "I feel like you're double-crossing me. You remember our deal, right? You take Parinidhi to Delhi and get back into your family. Then you get Parinidhi and Devansh divorced and marry her off to my son, Sahil. This way, I get my revenge on Devansh, and Parinidhi's share of her father's property will help me rebuild my business."

Rishabh nodded. "I remember the deal. I never break my promises," he said, smirking.

Veer believed Rishabh wouldn't betray him, unaware of Rishabh's true nature.

Rishabh was so deceitful that he had orchestrated a pre-planned accident to kill his own sister-in-law, Aaditi Nirvana.

"So what's the next step?" Veer asked, settling into his chair.

Rishabh fell into deep thought, his brow furrowing with concentration.

"Are you thinking of backing off just because your son Mukul is friends with Devansh?" Veer scoffed, unable to hide his irritation.

Rishabh shook his head slowly. "I knew Mukul was friends with Devansh Agnihotri, but I didn't realize their friendship was so deep."

"But I still don't get why Mukul hates you so much," Veer pressed.

Rishabh sighed deeply. "Mukul believes his mother left home because of my supposed mistreatment."

Veer looked genuinely surprised. "You mistreated your wife?"

Rishabh's expression turned to one of disdain. "I'm not the kind to resort to torture. If I wanted to harm her, one blow would have been enough. But when I got a clue about Parinidhi being in Mumbai, I contacted Narendra Thapar to eliminate her. My wife overheard the call and started threatening me, so I had to make her disappear. Everyone thought she ran away and to escape imagined mistreatment."

"Doesn't your brother Vikram know his daughter Parinidhi is alive?" Veer asked, clearly astonished.

"No, I fed him a false story that Parinidhi died at birth and Parvati also died while giving birth to her. I even gave him false medical records. He was too consumed by mourning Aaditi's death to doubt anything. I had planned to eliminate Parinidhi and Parvati, but Devansh's father hid them," Rishabh recounted, his voice tinged with bitterness.

"How did Devansh's father get involved in all this?" Veer asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Devansh's parents were close friends with Aaditi," Rishabh explained. "Aaditi suspected I posed a threat to her child's safety, so she took my brother and Parvati to London. When Parvati's pregnancy was confirmed, my brother and Aaditi returned to India, but Aaditi kept Parvati under high security with Keshav's help, making it impossible for me to find them."
