this was low effort, I was googling 'Masky Symptoms' for fun, and i came across a few posts which said some reasonable things, and just today I figured it'd be good to write about. Since I have been wanting to research a bit to atleast write more and inform more about them. I might have repeated a few things that I've already written about him in the other chapter.
Personality (Tim) Quiet and reserved. Intorverted. May come across as standoffish and rude - very vurious nature. Seems calm however is emotional and very quick to anger - Becomes physically aggressive. May suffer depression or depressive symptoms as history of self-harm and suicide risk. Uses humour to cope. Scared inside, seeks normality and peace from his chaotic life.
Personality (Masky) Quiet and possibly cruel. More aggressive and very physical. Will fight before reason. Scares others away similar to Tim pushing others away. Bold and clumsy.
What is Masky? Masky is most probably a product of DID. This DID may be caused by Slender's influence, following his stalking. DID victims are known to have multiple personalities to cope with trauma, Tim has a past history of trauma, an implied poor relationship with his mother and no mention of a father or siblings As a result of hospital (implied psyche ward) isolation, may have created a personality to cope. This also links to the trauma Slenderman causes, including blackouts, further implying this. Masky, may be another more 'impulsive and animalistic' Tim as an expression, vent and means to cope. Alternatively, Masky may be another side of tim (implied by impusliveness and more exaggerated Tim) to hide from the Slenderman. Perhaps, if one hides their face, it confuses the faceless being - who may use human faces similar to humans, to recognise individuals. However this may only be temporary, meaning Slender understands masks, but they still are a protective barrier and a mockery to his lack of face.
Assumption ; How does he (and Hoody) work against the Operator? Masky and Hoody might be trying to scare away everyone that has come in contact or is in the influence of the Operator. For example, Jay and Jessica; Jay has already seen and investigated the Operator, which is a very dangerous decision and eventually led him to his death. Jessica has already been influenced by the Operator by showing symptoms of the Slender Sickness, such as memory loss, paranoia, etc.
Masky and Hoody, might've been trying to warn Jay to stop his investigation by attacking everyone and sending eerie messages. Since Jay is probably someone who the Operator wants for it's selfish needs, they're daunting him to stay away from it's grasp/influence so it won't feed off of more fear and deaths.
