Heya~

Just in case you didn't notice or Wattpad didn't inform you, this is the second chapter I'm uploading for Christmas day. :3

Ch.112:‌ ‌Doors‌ ‌Open‌ ‌to‌ ‌Greet‌ ‌the‌ ‌Ghost;‌ ‌Drawn‌ ‌Earth‌ ‌a‌ ‌Prison‌ ‌

"What's with the title? It sounds...weird, the second part at least."

"Yeah," someone agreed. "What does 'drawn earth a prison' mean?"

"Someone drew a talisman or something of sorts to imprison someone in dirt?" Qian Qiu guessed.

"..."‌ ‌

"Where‌ ‌is‌ ‌he?"‌ ‌Xie‌ ‌Lian‌ ‌said.‌ ‌

"Gone," Qi Rong bluntly stated. "Can't you see?"

"Thank you for sharing such a valuable and not obvious information to us," Feng Xin sarcastically said while rolling his eyes.

The‌ ‌three‌ ‌entered‌ ‌the‌ ‌small‌ ‌pavilion‌ ‌and‌ ‌within‌ ‌the‌ ‌building‌ ‌there‌ ‌was‌ ‌no‌ ‌one.‌ ‌All‌ ‌sorts‌ ‌of‌ ‌spiritual‌ ‌devices‌ ‌and‌ ‌treasures‌ ‌were‌ ‌still‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌same‌ ‌place‌ ‌as‌ ‌set‌ ‌up‌ ‌before,‌ ‌only,‌ ‌once‌ ‌the‌ ‌doors‌ ‌were‌ ‌opened,‌ ‌they‌ ‌all‌ ‌became‌ ‌useless.‌ ‌

Wu Du steeled his nerves, preparing himself for the news of what happened and who took his sibling. He didn't even try turning to look at Qing Xuan, knowing that his sibling would look guilty which he didn't want her to be. After all, none of this was her fault, it was his.

Unfortunately for him, his action made Qing Xuan feel worse. She took his action in the opposite way and felt that her brother believed her to be foolish enough to open the door without any worries.

'Does he not have any trust in me?' she bitterly thought with a frown.

Xie‌ ‌Lian‌ ‌shouted‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌communication‌ ‌array,‌ ‌"LORD‌ ‌WIND‌ ‌MASTER?‌ ‌WHERE‌ ‌ARE‌ ‌YOU?"‌ ‌ ‌

"If the kidnapper is smart, they wouldn't allow her to stay awake," Mu Qing commented.

"Or they did something to block her ability to communicate with anyone," Yushi Huang added with a frown.

While‌ ‌on‌ ‌the‌ ‌way‌ ‌over,‌ ‌because‌ ‌they‌ ‌were‌ ‌focused‌ ‌on‌ ‌rushing,‌ ‌plus‌ ‌Shi‌ ‌Qingxuan‌ ‌was‌ ‌overly‌ ‌agitated,‌ ‌Xie‌ ‌Lian‌ ‌was‌ ‌the‌ ‌one‌ ‌who‌ ‌proposed‌ ‌that‌ ‌he‌ ‌meditate‌ ‌to‌ ‌calm‌ ‌down,‌ ‌to‌ ‌stop‌ ‌thinking‌ ‌and‌ ‌saying‌ ‌nonsense,‌ ‌scaring‌ ‌himself.‌ ‌

"A good suggestion," Pei Su said. "It's unfortunate that it's just the wrong timing."

"But doesn't it seem like there's too many coincidences?" Banyue couldn't help but point out.

"That's true," Ling Wen agreed. "It's almost like they're being stalked by reverend."

"Or someone's feeding them information but that's impossible since all of them seem close or have no reason to betray the others," someone sighed. "So we're back to the beginning."

Shi‌ ‌Qingxuan‌ ‌thought‌ ‌it‌ ‌made‌ ‌a‌ ‌lot‌ ‌of‌ ‌sense‌ ‌and‌ ‌gradually‌ ‌stopped‌ ‌talking,‌ ‌so‌ ‌the‌ ‌lack‌ ‌of‌ ‌response‌ ‌wasn't‌ ‌out‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌blue.‌ ‌
