Weeks have passed and everyone is busy because the final exam is coming and that will be tomorrow. We need to study hard and studying hard means no fun. I've been doing an all-nighter and I'm sure I look like a zombie now. It's a good thing that my class starts at ten in the morning today.

I'm currently walking on the campus ground and I feel like I'm floating. Having less than one hour of sleep is a torture. Malapit na akong tumagos sa pader.

I heard someone calling my name but I was too absentminded to care. Sakit ng ulo ko.

"Hoy!" I felt someone gently tapped my shoulder.

"What?"

"Kanina pa kita tinatawag." nakalabing sagot ni Clara.

"Hindi ko narinig." I continued walking.

"Why are you so mean?" I tilted my head and went back to her. She sounds like she's about to cry.

"I'm sorry. I'm not feeling well. I only had one hour of sleep last night because I was studying." I explained and apologized again. She's still pursing her lips while her eyebrows are furrowed. I held her hand to pull her to our room.

"Ganun ba? Hindi ako makarelate. Hindi ako nag-aral eh." my head snapped and looked at her.

"Joke lang! Nag-aral ako siyempre. Hindi pwedeng best friend ko lang ang nasa dean's list 'no!" tumatawa pa siya na parang may nakakatawa.

We entered the room to attend our first class for today. I couldn't concentrate because my eyelids were too heavy. I pinched my arm to stay awake. This is what I usually do whenever I feel sleepy in class. Pinching my arms or fingers.

"Nakita kitang kinukurot yung braso mo kanina. Magkakapasa ka na naman niyan." Clara complained when we went out. Our morning classes are finally done. I already want to go home.

"Patingin." she gently raised my left arm to have a clearer view. Nakitingin din si Kiel para makita iyon, pero wala.

"Wala naman." we continued walking to go to the cafeteria. Our friends are already there waiting for us. Clara greeted them enthusiastically, while Kiel and I sat silently. I sat next to Red. He texted me earlier that he's going to buy me food para hindi na kailangang pumila pagdating namin.

"Babayaran kita mamaya." I told him. Nilapit niya ang pagkain at inumin sa akin. "No need."

"May pera ako, Red." I said while looking at the food he bought me.

"I have money too." I tilted my head to look at him. I scooted away because his face is near mine. "Sinabi ko bang wala?"

He chuckled because of my tone. "Why are you annoyed again?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm not. Ang sabi ko lang may pera ako and I can pay for my food."

"And I have money too."

"Oh edi parehas kayong may pera. Kumain na lang kayong dalawa. Hindi yan kukusang papasok sa bibig niyo."

Aiden, the menace that he is, suddenly spoke beside me. I glared at him. He raised his hands, backing up.

"Don't piss Rain off. Puyat 'yan." I heard Kiel said.

"Baka bugahan ka ng apoy, Aiden."

Hindi ko na sila pinansin at nagsimula nang kumain.

"You did an all-nighter again last night?" Red asked. I nodded at him. "How are you going to function tomorrow if you are sleep deprived?"

"Kaya ko naman. And I promise to study a bit tonight and sleep. Baka makatulog ako bukas sa exam." I saw him nodded in my peripheral vision. "Good."

He bought chop suey for me as per my request. Although, I eat vegetables, there's a certain vegetable that I don't like.
