↳ season three, episode four: angry, young, and man
act one / who killed bryce walker?

𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀'𝐒 life could ever be normal. And, just when she thought that things may be getting back to normal, something came crashing in to let her know that her life was absolutely and completely still chaotic as ever.

That something, at least this morning, was Ani Anchola and Tony Padilla rushing up to her at her locker, interrupting the moments of peace thinking about the night before with Scott.

She looked in the mirror she had in her locker, paying careful attention to the makeup that was sitting on her neck, covering up Scott's little marks that he had left last night. Nessa woke up thirty minutes early this morning to ensure that not a single person could see the little red marks on her neck, she had no time to explain them to anyone, especially not Alex.

"We have a problem." Ani whispered as Nessa shut her locker.

"What?" Nessa asked the two teenagers standing in front of her, nerves flooding in.

"Tyler came up to me last night and said he had a gun that he needed to get rid of." Tony said quietly as Nessa's eyes widened. "And this morning we find out..."

"Oh, good God." Nessa said as she leaned against the locker, rubbing her temples to get rid of the headache that was entering her body. "Bryce."

"Yeah." Tony said, defeated.

"He was doing so well, guys." Nessa said sadly, and she truly believed it. She thought Tyler had been doing great, and she really didn't want to think he was capable of this.

"We thought so, too." Tony said, and Nessa shook her head.

"I don't believe it." she said sharply. "Not Tyler."

The three of them watched as Tyler grabbed a brown paper bag from his locker, stuffing it into his backpack. They immediately knew what it was, and Nessa's heart dropped.

"Oh, my God." Nessa said, but Tony pushed through the two girls. "I'll handle this." he muttered, but he didn't get far before a counselor called him and he had no choice but to go with the woman.

"Don't let him out of your sight." Tony whispered to both girls, and they listened. They both had this class with him anyways. They watched intently as he shoved their worksheet into his backpack, careful not to let the paper bag slip out of the bag.

"Hey, Tyler." Nessa whispered as he looked over his shoulder. "Can I see what you got for number nine? I missed it."

"Yeah, totally!" Tyler said as he reached down to grab the paper out of his backpack. Nessa watched closely, attempting to see if she could see anything when he opened the bag, but she couldn't. He handed her his paper and Nessa pretended to examine it while Ani shot Clay a quick text. It was safe to say that the girls were panicked.
