↳ season four, episode eight: acceptance/rejection
act two / monty was framed

𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀 𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐏 everyday, hoping and praying for a calm day at Liberty High School. And, each time that she thought she just might get that wish, she was proven so, so wrong. Today was no different, and that was proven when she and Jessica walked out of one of their classes, distracted by a huge commotion in the hallway.

The two girls pressed through the crowd of students to come face to face with one of the guards, gun pulled and pointed at Diego Torres and Justin Foley as they stood there, backs against the lockers with terror in their eyes.

The guard put his gun back in his holster as he lunged toward Diego, using force to turn him around and slam his body against the locker. Nessa and Jessica watched in fear, feeling frozen in their steps. It took Justin screaming at the guard, in Diego's defense, for both girls to snap out of their dissociation and realize that they needed to do something, fast.

"Hey, what the fuck?" Jessica yelled as she grabbed Nessa's arm and the both of them charged toward the scene, the only ones that had the courage to do so.

The guard ignored Jessica's cry, using his force to pull Diego back and slam him into the locker yet again.

"What the fuck?" Nessa yelled, and the guard grabbed Diego by the shoulders, leading him right through the crowd of students as Jessica and Nessa stood there, helpless. Diego looked back with a panic, and both girls immediately followed him, as did the rest of the student body to go toe to toe with Principal Bolan, once and for all.

The girls reached him, and they now stood in front of the man with a forcefield of students behind them, their friends among them.

"There are innocent people being treated like criminals." Jessica began as the principal stood in front of her, arms crossed.

"I'm told they were fighting." Bolan replied calmly, and Nessa scoffed.

"That's bullshit and you know it." she said angrily. "And it's not just them, it's all of us."

"Yeah!" the crowd of students rallied behind Nessa and Jessica, which only encouraged them to go further.

"Presumed guilty? No charge? No due process?" Jess continued, and the student body continued to show their support and frustration.

"Alright, people." Bolan tried to maintain peace, but he failed. "Folks. The situation is being addressed. Let's get back to class."

Everyone began to chatter amongst themselves, but they were tired. Tired of the way they were being treated. This ended now, they decided in unison.

"No." Nessa demanded, and Principal Bolan raised his brows, almost challenging the girl in front of him. Big mistake.

"Don't make matters worse," he replied. "Get back to class."

"No." Clay spoke up, taking steps forward. "We're not going back to class."

"Clay." Bolan said exasperatedly. "We will get into this. Diego is being released, the officer will be disciplined if appropriate..."
