"So what happened with you and Allison?" Dylan grinned, he looked like a bit of an idiot with his sunglasses on inside but I couldn't blame him, he seemed wrecked.

"Like I said the last three times" I groaned, "she was just being nice"

"Sorry, I'm a bit out of it today" he mumbled. I almost laughed but the bell sounded and Dylan looked like he'd been hit in the ears with a sledge hammer so I thought it wouldn't improve his mood.

"You coming to lacrosse?" He said once he'd recovered.

"Yeah, I guess" My voice trailed off as Toby and Lydia stuttered past.

"Hey Scott" the strawberry blonde giggled, not stopping. Toby just grunted and pulled her along.

"He looked mad" whispered stiles. I just nodded in agreement, I wasn't too sure what i did wrong but I know I haven't exactly bond with Toby the way I should have tried to. I just wanted to change the subject.

"So have you thought anymore about how to get Lydia to like you?"

"Ugh, No" he groaned, pressing his cheek against the locker door in misery. He obviously didn't want to talk about that either. "So what about Allison?"

"I don't know... But she'll be at lacrosse right?"

Dylan nodded, "with Lydia..."

"Yes" I said bluntly, making my way to the locker rooms quickly.

"Adams!" Boomed a loud voice. Coach walked over to me with something in his hand which he chucked over to me. I held it up to see it properly, it was a red, number 11 lacrosse Jersey... Great, now I'm on the team, why am I so bad at being invisible?

"Good job dude!" Grinned Dylan, as I stumbled into the hot lockeroom. Most of the guys were already in there and I could see Toby eyeing me along with his friends. I took the vacant locker nearest to Dylan and shoved my bag inside it and started to get into my new, haunting uniform.

The practise was mainly just doing drills, but most of the time I was checking if Allison was still sitting up on the bleachers, like if I looked away for too long then she'd evaporate or something.

"HEY, ADAMS!" Shouted a annoyingly familiar voice, I had just enough time to see Toby hurl the ball at my face. I should of let it hit me, I really should of, but purely on the basis of instinct the ball made contact with the back of my stick, not me.

"Good catch Adams" congratulated Coach. I just stared down at the ball in my stick until the final whistle blew and the team rushed passed me to get to the showers.

"You coming?" Asked Dylan.

"I'll meet you there..." I mumbled, still looking down at the ball. He must of looked beyond confused by my sudden change of attitude but he seemed to ignore it.

"Sure, by the wa-" he was abruptly cut off.

"Scott!" Called Lydia as she, accompanied by Allison, strutted across the field towards us.

"Hey Lydia" gawped Dylan, almost falling over just by looking at her. She did quite the opposite and completely ignored him.

"I want to know more about you, new boy" she smiled devilishly. I looked at Dylan for support in the situation but he was to busy staring at her to help.

"There is really nothing to know..." I said slowly, I obviously didn't make it clear enough at the party.

"Allison, Toby and I are going out on Sunday and we want you to come"

I was slightly taken aback by the sudden offer, and by 'we' she obviously wasn't including Toby. Anyway, it was just a ploy to dig into my past, for a second I was tempted to decline. Although, it would be with Allison and it would look like I didn't like her if I said no...

"Okay, where are we going?"
