Respected overlookers of the universe, please hear my plea.
Since I am suffering from a serious case of who's-my-soulmate phobia,
I request few days of rest from this beautiful universe so that,
I could snuggle in my blanket all day long, and imagine it to be him,
Pick out a canvas and complain how I could never capture his perfection,
Look in the mirror and for once, see his face instead of mine,
And eat my meals in solitude, wondering what his taste in food is,
Comb my hair a thousand times and finally tell myself
That he'll like it just the way it is.
I believe these to be valid reasons and I hope you do to.
If you don't want me to rest, then send me a sign,
Find me my soul mate; cure me of this disease,
And then maybe you can get the best out of me.
With sincere love and affection, the one you crafted with all your heart.
