Nature's wrath

The place where the soul went dry,

Was once a place where livelihood thrived.

But even in this eerie silence,

Is a soul soothing solace.

What used to be bustling laughter,

Has turned into rustling leaves.

And what used to be the people's love,

Is now the retiring place for the sun's glow.

Through the journey far and wide;

This place is either a boon or a curse;

Not a life in sight; yet, bursting with energy.

Somewhere in this big, wide world

Where the corner's filled with thorns

Are beautiful roses blooming

And merry birds singing

What we destroyed have now destroyed us

And it couldn't be more beautiful than this.

Slow wind blows the sand all around

Showing its power; Showing it's strong

A clear blue sky is the only limit

While standing at this place,

Abandoned and alone.
