I once had a dragon who loved to jump
Over the mountains and toxic dumps.
At some point, I think I lost him,
And ever since, can't find him.
I once had a dragon who loved to roar,
So loud that it became a lore.
Now, that is all he is– a simple tale;
I wonder where I failed.
I once had a dragon who loved to dance,
So perfect, it caught people in trance.
Now, I search for him in every dance floor,
Every once in a while, eyeing the door.
I wonder what happened to the dragon that I owned,
When did he come? When did he leave? Perhaps,
I never had him; just a dream I had in mind.
But even now, it feels so real. I lost him, didn't I?
