I cry and shout and thrash and scream
But never once do I move towards my aching need.
I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm scared,
But I'm brave, I'm brave, I'm brave.
Just move and move and get what you want
But stay, just stay; what if it's wrong?
Do I really want it? Oh, yes I do!
But do I really want it? Maybe... No!
How can I still when my mind rages,
And how can I sleep when my body revolts.
Maybe, just maybe, I'll win someday,
But maybe, just someday, maybe I won't.
I'm brave, I'm smart and I know what I'm doing,
But I tremble, I'm dumb and I'm totally clueless.
