After a long long time, I realized,
I'm not a lucky soul but an unfortunate one,
Though it may look the other way round.
Everyone sees my success, but not
The failures I faced to get there.
This world is a cruel cruel place,
Corruption and depression reigning
With their heads held high.
Won't someone come to save me, I wonder,
Since the villains aren't dressed that bad
And the heroes seem lost to this world.
Maybe it's time I stood up,
But against what? The whole world?
Everyone's hurting, and still don't understand,
That everyone's suffering so it's better
If it didn't exist...
I hate to admit it, but I'm counting down,
Counting down days for destruction,
The destruction of this world,
So that we can start anew and leave
The past behind...
The current life is cruel and I would never neglect,
And I'm still waiting for the lightning to strike,
To set the world ablaze.
The end is the start of new beginnings,
And I can't wait for this world to end.
