Three days later, things were still the same. Kyle was still acting weird, Fawn was going off with her siblings wether Kyle liked it or not, and unfortunately, Allena still had to listen to her brother whenever he went on his almost daily rants about Fawn, Scarlett and Luke. Allena was still really worried about his well-being, but decided against mentioning anything about that to Kyle.
"Hey, Allena... Can I ask you something?" Fawn asked.
"Uhhh, Sure! What's wrong?" Allena replied.
"Well it's about Kyle. He's been acting really over protective lately."
"I know. I wish he wasn't. I'm really worried about him, I've tried to tell him that but he won't listen!"
"What are you talking about?" Venus and Nani asked from behind them.
"Oh, just... Kyle. He's been acting weird over the past few days. Have either of you noticed that?" Fawn asked.
"Actually, yes." Nani replied.
"I've seen him get really worked up whenever you and your siblings go off somwhere." Venus added.
"Does either of you three know why?!" Fawn asked.
"No." Nani answered.
"Same." Venus said. There was a long pause. Then Nani and Fawn looked over at Allena.
"What are you guys looking at me for?!" She asked.
"He's your brother! Before Fawn, Scarllet and Luke get back he's usually telling you about it! He must of told at least SOMETHING as to why he's freaking out!" Nani exlaimed.
"Well yesterday he did say something about him having feelings for Fawn," She explained, without realized what she had just said.
"Oh! Shoot!" She cried as she placed a hand over her mouth.
"What's wrong?" Venus asked.
"I wasn't supposed to tell anyone that! I wasn't even supposed to remember that he said it in the first place! Oh man... Kyle is going to be even more mad at me now!" She cried.
Fawn stared at Allena for a few moments in complete disbelief.
How could Kyle POSSIBLY have a crush on me? He only just stopped hating me a while ago! Fawn thought to herself.
"Did... he... REALLY?!" She asked shocked.
Allena only nodded her head yes.
"So what you're saying is, Kyle has a crush on Fawn." Venus said.
"Maybe. I guess it would explain why he was acting up like that. But promise me that NONE of you will tell him I said that. I feel really stupid right now." She replied.
"We won't." Nani said.
"Your little secret is safe with us!" Venus added.
After the four girls left to do other things, Luke approached Fawn again.
"Hey Fawn, I was wondering..." He started.
"Yeah, Luke?" She said.
"Well, I had a few friends back in the city and I was going to ask you if you wanted to come with me to meet them?"
Fawn thought about it for a couple of seconds.
"Well, as much as I would like to, I think the group would needs as much help as they can get. Most of us are just thirteen" She answered.
"If you don't like it you don't have to stay. I'll bring you right back here."
Fawn considered what Luke had just said for a minute.
"You know what, I think it would be nice. I need to get a few things out of my head anyway." She finally stated.
"Like what?" Luke asked concerned, tilting his head.
"Oh, I'll tell you later. I'm just gonna tell everyone where we're going. Before you know who freaks out." Fawn said.
"Oh-I already told them." Luke replied quickly.
"Really? Okay! Let's go!" Fawn exclaimed.
So Fawn and Luke went off, but didn't bring one person, Scarlett. She was left alone at the group's site, unaware of Fawn's absence for a while. After an hour or so, she realized Fawn and Luke were gone.
"Where did they go?" She asked herself confused.
Scarlett started looking around for Fawn, but couldn't find her.
"Hey Scarlett!" Mika exclaimed. "What are you looking for?"
"Fawn. She left and I need to ask her if I can have candy, but she's not here!" Scarlett replied.
"Well why don't you just eat some? I'm sure she won't mind."
"Oh... Fine. I'm gonna steal some Skittles and keep looking for her out in the woods." Scarlett said. After 5 minutes of walking around, she overheard a conversation between two men. Only she couldn't see them.
"There she is!"
"Well I'm not going out there dressed in this!"
"Well do you want the second one or not?"
"I do but..."
"Well then it's now or never!"
"Ugh.... fine!"
Scarlett looked towards the direction she had heard the voices coming from, then back at the bag of Skittles in her hand.
"Okay, I have got to stop eating so many of these!" Then she kept walking. As she walked, she bumped into two men dressed in fairy costumes.
"GET THESE SKITTLES AWAY FROM ME!" She yelled.
"What's not to love about Skittles?!" The shorter one asked cheerfully.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"We are magical fairies!" The tall one said. "There, are you happy?" He whispered annoyed to his partner.
"Thrilled." He answered.
"Anyway... We came to take you to Candy Land!" The short one said.
"Candy Land?!" Scarlett asked excitedly, jumping up and down.
"Yep! There's every kind of candy imaginable there!! and it's tons of fun!"
"Well look mister faries. Candy Land seems like a lot of fun, but I have a sister, I can't leave her here!"
"Why don't you come with us for a little bit, and see how you like it?" The big one said.
"I don't know..."
"It's so much fun! You do like to have fun, right?" The short one exlaimed.
"Heck yeah I do!"
"Well then come on!"
"Oh alright..." Scarlett agreed.
"YAY!" The two men cheered. And they kept walking.
back at the camp, everyone was fine, and almost didn't notice their absence. Allena even managed to get Kyle to keep his mouth shut for a few hours. But by nightfall, the group started to get a little worried.
"Shouldn't they be back by now?" Mika asked.
"They should be. But I have no idea where they are." Venus replied.
"Do you think something bad happened?" Nani suggested.
"I doubt it." Tyler said.
"They could just be camping out for the night." Allena said.
"True." Nani added.
"What if they don't come back by tomorrow?" Kyle asked.
"We look for them again I suppose." Venus answered.
"But let's not worry about it now. I'm going with Allena on this one. They'll show up." Nani said.
