Chapter 29

After that, Scarlett and Mika led the group to where they had spotted the camp and hid behind a bush. 
"So... is that it?" Nani asked pointing to it. 
"Yep." Mika replied flatly. 
"Wait! Is that Kyle over there?!" Caden asked pointing at someone. 
"Oh my god it is.  Wow! You two were right!" Venus exclaimed looking at Scarlett and Mika. 
"Who the heck would someone do something like this?" Fawn asked really sadly. 
"I don't know Fawn.  But he'll be okay.  I know it.  But now the real question.  How do we get him out of there?" Tyler asked. 
"Maybe.... two of us should sneak over closer to the camp, get Kyle's attention and ask him what's going on." Mika suggested. 
"Who would do that?" Scarlett asked. 
"Whoever it was would have to be pretty quiet." Venus added. 
"Oh oh I know!!!" Tyler exclaimed.  Everyone looked at him. 
"Who?" Allena asked. 
"Greztky!" He answered happily. 
"No." Caden said. 
"Awww." Tyler said glaring at Caden. 
"What about... Scarlett?" Nani suggested. 
"Ohhhh no! You are NOT sending HER out there!!! Especially not without me!" Fawn cried. 
"Then why don't you go with her?" Mika asked.
"I.. I will. But I'll go by myself. She is NOT coming with me!" Fawn answered.
"But, Fawn.. How will you get to him, you know, without them seeing?" Allena asked.
"I will act as natural as possible, Let's be honest, me and Scarlett have the most.. Er- out of date and pretty worn out clothes.. Sadly.. So I might blend in with the rest of the kids that they stole. I'll get as much information out of Kyle then I'll come up with a plan with him and the rest of the kids.. But here is where you guys come in.." Fawn started.
"What is it?" Tyler asked.
"I'm going to need you guys to distract whoever is head of this place, but without being seen." Fawn explained. Then she got up and slowly and quietly went over to where Kyle was. When she was close enough, she hid behind a tree. Kyle was talking to someone else, so Fawn had to get his attention.
"Hey, Kyle! Over here!" Fawn whisper shouted. He heard, but didn't know who said it.
"Did you hear anything?" Kyle asked the boy he was talking to. The boy just shrugged.
"Kyle! Over here!" Fawn said again. This time, Kyle turned around and saw Fawn.
"What the heck are you DOING?!" He asked after a few seconds had past.
"I came to get you out of this place." Fawn replied. Then Kyle walked over to the tree.
"Please tell me you didn't come alone!" Kyle asked.
"No. The whole group wanted to come actually." Fawn said.
"Well... Where are they?" He asked.
"Back over there." Fawn answered pointing in the direction where she came from.  "Who put you in this place?" She asked. 
"Those two over there." Kyle answered pointing to them.
"Why would they do something like this?" Fawn asked somewhat mad. 
"Well... They're kind of... Sick in the head.  I don't think they know what's right or wrong anymore." Kyle explained. 
"But anyways, we're going to get you out of here." Fawn said. 
"You gotta plan for that?!" He asked nervously. 
"A little." Fawn replied. 
"Fawn, they'll KILL ME if they see us! And you guys! They told me that themselves! I don't even think that those men would even care if they hurt or killed a kid as little as Scarlett or Mika!" Kyle exclaimed. 
"Oh..." Fawn said slowly. 
"What are you doing?" Someone yelled from behind them. 
"Um... Nothing!" Kyle said trying to hide Fawn so the man wouldn't see her. 
"Fawn, you need to go." He said quickly.
"But-!" Fawn cried.
"Now." Kyle said strictly. 
"Kyle I'm-" Fawn began to say again.
"Look, I don't want you getting hurt for trying to get me out of here. So please just go!" He cried. After the slightest bit of hesitation, Fawn left. 
"I'll ask again.  What were you doing?" The man asked Kyle. 
"Oh... I-I just thought I heard... a zombie or something over there! I just went to check it out." He stammered. 
"Okay...." The man replied, then he left.
"Did you get anything?" Nani asked when Fawn came back.
"A little. Kyle told me that we have to be really careful if we're going to escape. Because... well... The guys that run this place are a little sick in the head. And they're probably going to shoot us. They don't show mercy at all." Fawn explained.
"What?" Mika asked nervously.
"Shoot us?!" Scarlett added equally as scared. Fawn nodded her head. All of the sudden, a gun shot went off as if it was proving her point. A scream had followed after
"Oh god!" Caden said quickly as he turned around. Turns out the men had shot a guy in the leg who looked to be 16.
"These guys are way to dangerous." Venus said.
"Pretty much just one wrong move and we're dead!" Tyler exclaimed.
"Guys?" Allena said really quietly. So quietly that only Caden and Fawn heard her.
"Woah. Are you okay Allena? You're going pale..." Caden asked her worriedly. She shook her head no. 
"What's wrong?" Fawn asked. 
"I-I'm scared..." Allena replied. "Think about it, the military said that they were only going to shoot us if they really had to, and one of them nearly killed me.... And these guys... they're sick. I don't want to die... Or you guys... especially Kyle..." She said.
"We'll be fine. I promise.  We made it this far right?" Caden reassured her.
"Oh... Ok.." Allena said still unsure.
"I'm going to go back know.." Fawn said slowly.
"But Kyle looked like he was trying to get you to leave." Tyler said.
"I know, but this time I'm not going to hide. This time I'm going to walk right in to the situation and pretend that I'm one of the kidnapped kids. If I get shot so be it, but it's our only chance to save Kyle and I am gonna take it.. Who's with me?" Fawn asked. Everyone raised their hands in agreement.
"Remember the plan?" Fawn asked. Everyone nodded. Fawn then proceeded to make her way back to Kyle, but this time she walked right into the camp.
"HEY!" One of the kidnappers yelled angrily. Fawn was sure that he was talking to her until she hear this..
"What are you doing over there, I told you to stay PUT!!!" The angry man yelled at a boy on the opposite side of Kyle with blonde hair. The man then shot the boy dead. Fawn cringed, then continued walking casually (on the inside, not so casual) over to where Kyle was. Kyle looked really worried as he watched Fawn walk over to him.
"Fawn.." Kyle whispered as he watched the gun man and Fawn at the same time.
"What did I say about coming over here?" Kyle asked.
"Not to do it.. But Kyle I wasn't going to leave you!" Fawn whisper yelled.
"Look, I know you want to save me and all, but this is way too dangerous. I don't want you killed because of me, same with the rest of the group. I'd rather stay here and know that your all safe at the cabin. Now go." Kyle said strictly.
"No." Fawn replied.
"Fawn..." Kyle began.
"I'm not leaving you. Me and you are going to come up with a plan, than the group is going to distract the bad guys, without being seen of course, then we are going to slowly leave with the rest of the group. Whatever happens, I'm not leaving you. I care about you Kyle.." Fawn explained.
"Oh Fawn.. I care about you too, but that's why I want you and the group to go. Plus-" Kyle began to say but was cut off.
"You!" One of the men yelled. Everyone looked around but no one got up. Fawn thought that this was weird.
"You! Girl! Get over here NOW!" He said again, and now everyone could tell he was looking at Fawn.
"No.. Fawn.." Kyle said but it was too late. Fawn began to walk towards the man.
"Oh my gosh.. He wants Fawn.. Oh Fawn!" Allena said worriedly from the bushes.
"You. Start a fire." The man demanded.
"I.. I.." Fawn stuttered nervously.
"What was that?" The man asked threateningly.
"I mean yes." Fawn corrected, but it was too late.
"Excuse me? Did you just say 'yes'? So much disrespect.. " The man said again wearing an eerie frown.
"Guess I'll just have to.. Oops." The man said, clearly not meaning the 'oops' as he kicked Fawn hard in the side.
"Ow.." Fawn said holding her side.
"F-Fawn.. What are they doing to her?!" Scarlett said really nervously as she watched from the bushes.
"Now.. Will you make a fire for me?" The man asked.
"Yes sir." Fawn said as she got up and started to make a fire.
"OH THATS IT!!!" Kyle yelled as he marched out from the crowd.
"Why the heck- Oh I can't even begin.." Kyle said angrily at the man.
"Oh what, you're going to threaten me?" The man asked sarcastically. 
"Why would you do this to a bunch of KIDS?! You just shot two kids for absolutely no reason!!" Kyle exclaimed not answering the man's question. 
"Like I said, I'm messed in the head. So don't question it!" The man replied coldly. 
"You know... Most people who don't get checked for mental illness usually don't think that they have one..." Kyle stated. 
"Oh you wanna play that game now do you?!" The man yelled.
"What you're doing is wrong! And I won't stop until everyone here is back where they belong! And I don't even care if you kill me!" Kyle cried. 
"Some of us do." Tyler muttered back where the group was.  All of the sudden, the man shoved Kyle up against a tree and pointed a gun at him. 
"NO!!!" Allena nearly screamed, nearly being that she would've given away the group's cover if she was any louder. Fawn had came back from making the fire, and saw what was happening.
"KYLE!" She yelled. "Why is he doing this?" She asked really, really nervously.
"He's too much of a trouble maker, He needs to go." The man replied. "Why, are you opposed to this?" He asked. Fawn looked at Kyle.
"Don't. Say. A word." He said quietly to her so the man wouldn't hear. 
"That's what I thought." The man said after a few moments.  Then he went to load his gun.  Just as he aimed it at Kyle, he heard something. 
"PINK FLUFFY UNICORNS DANCING ON RAINBOWS!!!" Tyler yelled from the bush. 
"What the..." The man asked.
"IM SANIC THE HEDGEHOG GOTTA GO FAAAAAAST!!!" He yelled again running behind trees. Apparently he was starting the distraction so Kyle wouldn't get shot.  Back where the group was, half of them were trying hard not to laugh, and the others were asking him to stop before he got killed.
"Tyler! Are you trying to get yourself KILLED?!" Venus asked.
"You just had to say 'Sanic the hedgehog?' " Nani exclaimed laughing.
Tyler stopped running.
"Yes. Nani. I did." He replied. Then started running and yelling again.
"WAHOOOOOO!!! LIFE IS GOOD LADIES AND GENTS, LIFE IS GOOD!!!" Tyler yelled insanely.
"Oh.. My.. God." Fawn said not knowing what to do.
"Do you know where that sound is coming from?" One of the men asked her.
"Um, no. Not a clue. But I do think that it may be coming from that direction." Fawn said pointing away from where the group actually was.
"Thanks." The man said before walking toward the wrong direction.
"No problem, numb skull!" Fawn said under her breath as she began to walk towards Kyle.
"What are you doing?" The man with the gun asked.
"Well, you know, I thought that I would let you know that the other man you where working with just got shot by some random person, he was calling your name for help. He is in that direction." Fawn said lying.
"Oh ok. Thanks. " The man said before heading in the direction the other man went.
"This is too easy." Fawn muttered. All of a sudden the rest of the group came out from the bushes.
"Everyone! Now is your chance, go!" Allena yelled.
"Oh my gosh Kyle!" She said as she ran up to Kyle and gave him a big hug.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too." Kyle said. By now all of the kidnapped kids had already left and where long gone.
"I was so worried!" Allena exclaimed.
"I know, I know. " Kyle said.
"Ok guys, we should probably go know! Who knows when they are going to come back!" Caden said.
"Good idea!" Venus exclaimed as the group left the premises.
