Chapter 25

"This apple pie is truly delicious! You never disappoint with your desserts as always Y/N! " Elizabeth exclaim happily before taking another bite.

"Thank you for the compliment Lady Elizabeth" you say with a smile and small bow.

"Quite indeed, her desserts are nearly as good as Sebastian's" Edward says with a small laugh.

"Thank you, Sir Edward" you responds with a smile and bow again.

"I would say I prefer your head maid over your butler Ciel. Especially as her appearance makes her look alot less a degenerate than Sebastian. I mean look at his hair, it's so unkempt as always" Francis says with her usual resting bitch face kinda look.

You glance to Sebastian to see his reaction but there isn't really much at all and deciding to be a bit mischievous you smirk as you look back at Francis.

"I pride myself in my appearance, Marchioness. But I totally agree with you, I have been trying so hard to make my husband tidy up his hair but alas he doesn't listen" you say with a sigh acting like the tired wife and out of the corner of your eye you see Sebastian smirking as if realising what you are doing.

"Atleast someone agrees. Ciel you need to sort this out" Francis says with a firm nod to Ciel.

"I am not too fussed with the appearance of my staff as long as they are good at their job. Sebastian is no acception just because he is my butler" Ciel states firmly earning an unsatisfied look from his Aunt.

"Now now let's not spoil this meal evening with trivial things. I'm more interested in knowing how the married life is for your head maid and butler" Alexis says with a big smile and eager eyes wanting to know the tea.

"I would say that being married hasn't really felt any different in all honesty" you say to Alexis who just frowns a little hearing this.

"Indeed, after the wedding it just seems like a normal day to day living" Sebastian follows up.

"Well that's not right at all" Elizabeth chimes in "I thought after marriage life becomes more brighter and exciting especially with the thought of having cute little babies in the future and dressing them up in adorable outfits"

Hearing Elizabeth say that brings you a feeling of mixed emotions but you keep a convincing smile on your face.

"I guess that is one thing to keep in mind I suppose but me and Sebastian want to get settled before thinking of children" you respond to Elizabeth who nods in understanding before finishing off her dessert.

After that the conversation changes topics and the rest of the evening went smoothly. Once the Midfords had left you collected the dishes and took them to the kitchen to be washed.

You hummed to yourself quietly as you started to wash the plates but stopped when you saw hands on either side of you gripping the white porcelain of the sink and a body pressed up against your back followed by warm breath on your ear.

"Don't think I forgot your small performance earlier darling" Sebastian says lowly in your ear making you smirk.

"It was a pretty good performance wouldn't you agree?" you respond as you place the plate on the drying rack. You suddenly gasp from being suprised as your suddenly turned around becoming face to face with Sebastian.

"Indeed it was. But remember one thing..." Sebastian moved closer and the tips of your noses touch "I always get the upperhand eventually"

You stare into his red eyes with a blush on your cheeks. Before anything more could be said and done Sebastian stands up with a smirk.

"The young master needs me. We will discuss this later" Sebastian says as he turns and exits the kitchen leaving you leaning back against the sink made of white porceline, a red faced mess trying to process what just happened.
