Grass village Part II

Meiko and Naruhi left the village as the were walking on the path straight to the grass village, Meiko was still shocked that Kakashi left the village without the hokage knowing as she wondered what the copy cat ninja was doing.

Suddenly it began raining as Meiko and Naruhi looked up in the sky and to their surprise and horror they saw that the entire sky had a red glow making it seem ominous.

What the hell happened to the sky" Meiko thought as suddenly she and Naruhi dodged a kunai, as they looked up and saw the same mask man from the Tsunade retrieval mission.

Hey wait, I know you" Meiko said as she heard the mask figure laughing.

Nice to see you again Meiko and Naruhi" the masked figure said.

Who are you, and way are you following us" Naruhi shouted as she threw a kunai towards the mask figure but to her and Meiko surprise they saw that the kunai bounced off the mask figure chest.

Aww no need to get violent" the mask figure teased causing Meiko and Naruhi to growl in anger, when suddenly they felt a surge of killer intent coming off of the mask figure making them freeze in fear.

For your and everyone safety, you will turn back now the village hidden in the grass has no importance to you, so stop wasting everyone's time" The mask figure warned as he/she disappeared causing the killer intent to go.

Meiko and Naruhi fell to the ground as the looked up at the spot where the mysterious mask figure was moments ago.

Who was that" Naruhi asked.

I don't know but for now lets continue our journey to the grass village" Meiko said as she helped Naruhi stand up as the continued on their journey.
