Adair moved behind Shamsher, the air around him heavy, suffocating. His hand gripped the back of the wooden chair, the edges creaking under his fingers. He leaned close, so close that Shamsher could feel the rage burning off his skin.

"Do you know," Adair whispered, his breath hitting Shamsher's ear like a blade, "how much that girl's husband felt watching her... scared of the world?"

Shamsher flinched, his eyes dropping to his bloodied palms, trembling on either side of him. Blood dripped down, pooling on the floor. He felt the sting, but nothing compared to the terror crawling up his spine.

Adair's voice lowered, thick with bitterness. "Do you know... how helpless I am feeling right now because I have to keep you alive?"

Shamsher swallowed hard, the lump in his throat choking him.

Adair moved forward, slowly, with a frightening calm. His next words were cold as ice.

"But..." he tilted his head, studying him, "you licked her... didn't you?"

Tears welled up in Shamsher's eyes as he cried out, "I'm sorry! Please! I'm sorry!" His body convulsed with each sob.

Adair didn't blink. His hand shot up, gripping Shamsher's mouth tight.

"Take out your tongue," Adair ordered, his voice loud, booming against the cement walls.

Shamsher whimpered, "I-I promise... I'll never touch another woman... please..." His words slurred through his tears.

Adair's eyes darkened, his patience snapping. He shouted, making Riya jolt where she sat, clutching Raghav's arm tightly.

"I said, take out your damn tongue!"

The rawness in his voice ripped through the room.

"Please don't cut—" Shamsher sobbed hysterically, the word dying in his mouth.

Adair leaned in, their faces inches apart. His voice softened, dangerously. "Ohh, you got it wrong..." he smirked, "even though I want to... I can't. Feeling bad?"

He tilted his head mockingly. "Me too."

Shamsher gasped, his bloody hands twitching on his lap. He looked like he could faint any moment.

But Adair wasn't finished. Not even close.

He gripped Shamsher's chin roughly, forcing him to look into his furious blue eyes.

"How dare you..." Adair growled low, a deadly growl, "how dare you touch her with these filthy lips of yours?"

Shamsher, broken, joined his hands together, his voice cracked from fear.
"I am asking for forgiveness... please..."
