The clock ticked past 1 PM, but Raj hadn't slept a minute.
His body was restless, mind scattered from yesterday.
He paced the length of his room like a caged animal, running a shaky hand through his disheveled hair.

"I need to talk to her... I need to know if she's okay..."
His heart screamed, but his brain reminded him —
He lost that right.

He suddenly stopped, breathing heavily, and slammed his fist against the wall with a loud thud.

"What the hell is happening here!" he growled under his breath, the sting in his knuckles doing nothing to calm him.

Memories from yesterday clawed back.
His mother's voice ringing in his ears — "Raj, I know where Tina is. I'll bring her back."
But instead of relief, it only filled him with more rage... more confusion.
He had questions. So many questions.

"How could Dad do that to me? To my love?"
"How could he even think about it?"

Raj's chest heaved with rage. He wanted answers. He needed them.
But Ashok hadn't returned home after leaving with Adair yesterday.

Frustrated, Raj stormed out of his room, his bare feet thudding against the cold floor.
Without thinking, he entered the room Mishti had stayed in — a room that still smelled faintly of her.
His eyes automatically drifted to the window, the one from where he could see straight into Adair and Mishti's house's window.

His breath caught.

There they were.

Standing near the bedroom door.
Adair's arms around Mishti, holding her close, too close.
Mishti's head leaned against Adair's chest, her fingers gripping his shirt tightly.
Like she... belonged there.

Raj's fists clenched at his sides, trembling.

"Mishti... you can't do this to me," he whispered, his voice breaking.
"I know I'm the bad guy... but you... you're the good one, right? Stay away from him... please..."

Rage blinded him.
He swung his fist again, punching the wall beside the window — harder this time —
the sharp pain slicing through his knuckles.

His eyes, burning with unshed tears, locked onto Adair through the window.

"Bhai... tumhe toh aadat hai na...
"Jo mera hai, woh chheen lene ki..."
("Brother... you have a habit, right... of snatching away whatever is mine...")

Raj sneered, hatred swirling inside him like a storm.
He wiped the blood from his knuckles roughly on his jeans and turned away from the window.

"Fine," he muttered, chest heaving,
"This time... I'll snatch her away from you..."
