The morning sun filtered through the heavy curtains, casting long shadows on the dining table where the Patel family sat for breakfast. The air was thick with unspoken worries, the clinking of cutlery against porcelain the only sound breaking the silence.

Raj sat motionless, his plate untouched, fingers gripping the edge of the table. His eyes, dull with exhaustion, flickered toward his father, Ashok.

"Dad, there's still no news about Tina." His voice was hoarse, barely above a whisper.

Ashok placed his spoon down with a sigh and looked at him, his expression firm but weary. "We've done what we could, Raj. The police will do their job. They found your brother without any mistake, they will find Tina too."

Raj turned to his grandmother, Lata, desperation etched into his features. "Dadi, you understand what I'm trying to say."

Lata met his gaze but remained silent. Her fingers trembled slightly as she rested them on the table. She knew. She knew who had information about Tina's whereabouts. But the weight of pressure on her shoulders held her tongue.

Before anyone could speak further, a commotion erupted at the entrance. Loud voices, hurried footsteps, and then—

Bang!

The door slammed open, and Kapil Malhotra stormed inside, his face red with fury. The maids scurried behind him, trying to stop him, but he shoved them aside as his piercing gaze swept over the room.

What he saw made his blood boil.

There they were—Raj, Ashok, Lata—sitting together, having breakfast, as if nothing had happened. As if his daughter wasn't missing.

He clapped his hands mockingly. "Wow! Amazing... you all are having fun here!" His voice dripped with sarcasm. "You all have the appetite to eat breakfast without my daughter?"

The moment Raj heard his voice, his body stiffened. He turned around sharply, his stomach twisting at the sight of Tina's father standing there, rage burning in his eyes.

Ashok, however, remained composed. He leaned back in his chair and gestured calmly. "Oh Kapil, come, sit down." He even offered a smile.

Kapil's face twisted with disgust. His fists clenched at his sides.

"Sit?!" he exploded. "Sit?! My daughter is missing, and you expect me to sit here peacefully?"

His furious gaze shifted to Raj.

"I regret... I regret marrying my daughter into this house."

Raj swallowed hard and got up. "Dad..." he started, but Kapil cut him off.
