"Hey! How much longer!" Naruto whined as we walked along the road.
"Be quiet Naruto!" Sakura yelled punching him the head, causing him to crouch down in pain.
The rest of us kept walking as this scene was becoming pretty common with the two of them. So far Naruto has complained ten times and Sakura has hit him nine times. She must be going easy on him.
At some point though, I too wanted to know when we would arrive in Konoha. I was impatient and a little nervous for what I would have to face. What would the Hokage say? Would he help me like they said he would? How were the Uchiha's going to react to the news I bring them. I've never met them before and it kinda scared me for once.
Over the years I have met many people, good and bad. But once I discovered who I was suppose to go to, it frightened me that I might be safe. It sounds strange, but I have become so use to protecting myself that to go to someone else for help, it was really scary. Especially that I have no idea who they are or how they will be towards me.
'My lady, did you happen to remember something? Your thoughts seem astray.' Ryujin spoke in my mind making me temporarily forget about my worries.
"After the dream of that man in the woods I thought that would be the end of it like any other time. But seeing Naruto with the Kyuubi brought back a very faint image of the man. I could for once pick out some details. His smile was bright like the sun and his purple hair blew gently in the wind as I looked up at him. But I think we both know that, that is no longer him. Even if I can't remember his name." Ryujin didn't say anything more to me. That man was the key to my memories and I knew it.
"Kiko you okay?" I opened my eyes to see Naruto's concerned gaze at me. I don't understand why he looks at me that way when he hardly knows me.
"Don't worry about me." I continued walking forward, the rest of the group staring at my back. They can't understand how I feel. But Naruto. Why do you remind me of someone I know? I know for sure it's not the man in my dreams, but who them?
Brushing off the thought I wait for everyone to catch up before we continue the long journey to Konoha.

After a couple more hours of trudging along the road, the gate to Konoha finally comes into view. Smiling to myself I try to hold back my excitement. And fear. Both were consuming me though, making it hard to mask it with just a small smile.
"Kiko I will take you to see the Hokage. The rest of you go home and take it easy. We won't have another mission for a while." Kakashi turns back to me before we head out along the many streets.
They buzzled with the afternoon day making me feel slightly jealous. If only I had this kind of freedom. Maybe I wouldn't have become so distant from everyone I met. Though the past is done and I doubt even coming here will change how I act.
"So what exactly do you need to speak to the Hokage about?" Kakashi suddenly asked.
"I think it would be best to explain everything at once. I do not mind if you stay while I explain it to the Hokage. The only thing I ask is to keep it private. I will be speaking of very important matters." Was all I decided to say to him. If he must know then I might as well have him in the room while I speak with the Hokage.
He said nothing more after that and we continued on until we reached a tall red building with the symbol of fire written on it. So this is the Hokage tower? After seeing the other kage towers I can officially say that they are all very different. And all have very different kages. Though I did hear that the Hokage was very kind. Maybe he would recognize my clan since it did business with the Uchiha's. It would help with getting what I need from him.
