Chapter Ten

Running through the forest I can already hear the screams coming from different teams. Seems like it has already begun.

As I was jumping through the trees a huge snake, and by huge I mean freaking gigantic, suddenly lunges for me. As it nears I jump towards it and kicked it in the head making it fly backwards crashing into a tree.

Please don't tell me that this is what he sent to fight me? Sighing I continue onwards towards where I thought that man would be. He's always going after the things he wants so I suspect that this time it's the sharingan. Won't he just be so happy once he gets that! To bad for him that I won't let him have it.

Racing through the trees I happen to see Gaara out of the corner of my eye killing off a group. With him here I suspected something like this, but at some point he needs to realize that he doesn't have to kill and that they're are people who are beside him. I always wished I could do that for him, but it probably didn't help that one day I disappeared on him only for him to find me in Konoha.

Sighing I continue pushing on trying to get the thought of my mind. Thinking about it now won't help that someone has infiltrated Konoha.

Making my way farther into the forest a cold chill runs down my spine and I could sense a presence close by. So he really did personally come here to take the sharingan. Running faster I try to find Sasuke and everyone else, hoping they were okay. Please let me make it on time!

Coming out into an opening I can see the battle has already begun. Sasuke and Naruto are fighting as best as they can against the large snakes, the man I hate standing just out of their reach.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Orochimaru. I see that even as a women you are as creepy as always." I say smiling evilly at him taking a quick glance to see if everyone was okay. Sakura was standing by helping Sasuke, who had his sharingan on, back up to his feet as I could see blood coming from his leg, but where was Naruto? Panic overwhelmed me but I had to ignore it and wait until after the fight to find him.

'My lady please be careful'. Ryujin said to me. 'We don't know what he really is up to. I have a feeling there's more to his plan'.

"Kiko!" I heard Sakura yell to me but I never take my eyes off Orochimaru. He will pay for everything he's done.

"Oh dear, if it isn't my cute little Tsukiko. Come to finally face me? Or maybe you want to come back, if you did I wouldn't have to tell everyone your secret" He asked grinning, his snake tongue lazily hanging out of his mouth like a madman. I tensed. "Oh I see, you really haven't said anything. Is that dragon still with you? If you don't mind I think I'd like to take you back!" He lunged for me, the rest of his body taking the form of a snake.

We fought back and forth for a while but I didn't want to use all my energy so I only defended. Orochimaru was still as strong as ever and no doubt did he have other tricks up his sleeve. Landing on a tree branch I was prepared to start fighting back when an idiot called his name.

"Hey Orochimaru! We're your enemy not her!" Sasuke yelled out surprising us both. Idiot, idiot, idiot!!!!!! What was he thinking?!?

Orochimaru turned away for me whispering one last thing to me before charging towards Sasuke. I'd prepare yourself, he's almost here. I was shocked to say the least. But I couldn't worry about that right now.

"Sasuke you idiot!" I yelled out heading in the direction of Orochimaru. But before I could make it in time, Orochimaru was winding his way to Sasuke faster than I could get there.

Suddenly shurikens were thrown landing right in front of Orochimaru. "Looks like I came just in time!" Naruto yelled out grinning like he already defeated the enemy.
