White lights shone hard in my eyes. I only heard a beeping noise in the background with the sound of people shouting. Where was I? Trying to shift around I find that I can hardly move a muscle. My body ached as it never had before, or at least it was like that one time.
I didn't want to dwell on the past at the moment, only wanting to figure out why there was so much pain consuming my body. I raise an arm and find that parts of my skin look like it has been boiled down to the bone. Blood swelling, running down my arm in mass amounts. It no longer looked like an arm, but more like a disfigured piece of flesh. The pain was excruciating as I felt it ripped right off of my body.
Hearing voices again I decide to put my arm back down and await whatever fate I had. It was too much for me to fight back. Who was I fighting? I couldn't remember. So I did the only thing that I could, closed my eyes. And the pain faded away along with my strength.

When I opened my eyes again the lights weren't so bright, but I was still confused on where I was. Looking around I look out the window to see Konoha Village. Throwing off the covers I stand up and walk towards the window. Something didn't feel right.
"Not thinking of escaping are you?" A voice from behind me said startling me. Turning around I see Kakashi reading that perverted book that never seemed to leave his hand.
"Where am I?" I ask my face blank. I feel like I'm forgetting something important.
"Konoha Hospital." That made me even more confused. What had happened? Kakashi didn't say anymore so I just kept staring at him. Was he seriously going to leave it at that?
"And?" I ask, wanting to know more.
"And what?" He didn't even look up.
"Do you want to tell me why I'm here or do I need to go find a nurse?!?" I asked getting frustrated.
He just sighed looking annoyed. "I think we should take you to the Hokage if you're feeling better."
I figured I wasn't going to get anything more out of him so in turn I sighed and just nodded. "I hope there's a good reason for this." I said. "Or trust me you won't like the consequences." Let's just say I was in a bad mood.
Kakashi raised his arms in defense repeating okay over and over again. At least he knew I wasn't joking.
Leaving the hospital we walked towards the Hokage tower not saying a word. It was early in the afternoon and few people had decided to wake up yet. The streets that were normally filled with bustling crowds was now almost completely empty. But the birds were awake, chirping away among the trees.
Since it was quiet I was able to think to myself. I made sure Ryujin couldn't invade my mind. I wanted to be able consider things on my own, but the emptiness was unusual to me. The silence was almost eerie but I paid it no mind.
Closing in on the building there was a pit in my stomach making me uneasy. What had happened before I ended up in the hospital? Was Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura okay? They were good questions but my mind didn't have the capacity to even try to think of the answers.
I thought about things I could comprehend, no time for dwelling on uncertainties. Also about things I knew were soon coming. Whoevers face that had been in my dream so long ago, I just hope that he is on my side. But at this point I can never be sure. There was something familiar about him, even if his face was blurred from my vision. Who knows where he was, let alone who he is. It was curious to me to think that I had a whole past life which was a complete mystery to me. I just wondered when everything would become clear.
"Where here." Kakashi brought me out of my thoughts almost startling me at hearing his voice. The birds became quieter and the streets were now completely empty. "Let's hurry inside."
