Invincible - A Naruto Fanfic

Chapter Twelve

Racing through the village I head towards the wall where I could see people struggling to escape. Ninja's were trying to hold off the giant snakes but it was a struggle. I really wish I didn't have to leave the Hokage with Orochimaru, but there was nothing I could do about it at the moment. My strength would best be focused on trying to save the village.

Jumping up into the air I spin before slamming my foot into the head of a giant snake. It looked confused for a moment as it was thrown slightly back, but the attack didn't stop. "So Ryujin what should we use today?" I grinned wickedly. Ever since I got here I haven't used many jutsu's. This might just be a little fun... Besides the death and destruction....

"Ice Release: Black Dragon Outburst Snowstorm!" Performing the handsigns I drop back onto a rooftop and wait only a second before my black ice dragon appears. His eyes glow red and before anyone or anything can realize what's happening the snake is being attacked by a black frozen tornado that starts tearing it to pieces.

Some of the ninja's looked on in horror at how destructive the jutsu was, others just surprised that they actually had a chance at winning. I on the other hand was only focused on sending the dragon to the next snake. Because of my very high chakra it was easy to keep it going for a while, but I figured that I would need something a little more powerful to destroy five more snakes.

Cutting off the jutsu I begin to perform another set of hand signs. If they were surprised by that jutsu wait for this one! "Element Release: White Destruction!" A white glow began to surround me, but my eyes turned black. I seeked out my enemies with just my eyes, and when I pinpointed all five I released the jutsu, a destruction made up of all five elements ignoring everything else and only harming the ones I chose. I guess I can thank Orochimaru for that one...

When my sight finally came back the snakes were gone and the ninja's looked at me strangely. "Head towards the Hokage! They will need your help! Some of you stay here just incase anything else shows up!" And with that I headed outside of the village feeling a presence I wish wasn't there. Hold on Gaara.

I finally managed to reach where the presence was, but Gaara already seemed lost. His once beautiful green eyes were only white now. His one-tailed beast was taking over him. "Gaara!" I yelled at him taking his attention away from Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

"You!" He charged at me and I quickly jumped to the side just barely missing his attack. He was blind with rage and I didn't know how to help him. 

"Please Gaara! You have to stop this!" I tried to reason with him as I carefully avoided oncoming attacks from his sand claw.

"Don't speak as if you know me! You left me alone!" For once in a long time I saw a tear run down his face. It's all my fault. I didn't move and the next attack hit me straight in the stomach sending me flying backwards.

"I'm sorry Gaara." Hitting a tree I let myself fall to the ground feeling to weak to fight. Isn't this all my fault? My fault that he's being used as a weapon. My fault he's so filled with hate and anger. Why did it turn out like this?

My vision blacked out for a minute and when I opened them Sasuke was trying very hard to carry me away from the battle. "What are you doing!" I yelled hitting him in the head.

"Saving your life!" He screamed back to me.

Before I said anything else I saw the full one-tailed beast with a giant toad fighting it. The toad sprung up into the air and suddenly it was transformed into the nine-tailed beast. "What the heck did I miss?" I yelled over the sound of the wind.

Jumping out of his arms I stop on a nearby branch. We were still too close to the battle to be considered safe, but I had to help. "What are you doing? We have to get out of here!" Sasuke yelled tugging at my arm.
