Adhira felt her cheeks burn with a deep sense of embarrassment as Kabir closed
the door with a thud and ran away. She let out a small, involuntary gasp and immediately buried her face in Vikram's chest. "This is so embarrassing."
He wrapped his arms around her, his hand stroking her back. "It's okay. It's not like we were doing anything wrong."
Adhira looked up at him, her voice carrying a sharp edge. "Seriously? He's going to tease me so much."
Vikram sighed, his frustration evident. "It was his fault. He should have knocked before entering."
Adhira shook her head, still nestled against him. "It was our fault. We shouldn't have been doing this in your office."
Vikram pulled back slightly to look into her eyes, "it's not like we have privacy at home either," he muttered. "Every time we try to have a moment, someone or something interrupts us."
Pressing her palms on his chest, she pulled away from his hold. "Don't you dare curse my Changu," she shot back, glaring at him.
"I'm cursing the eldest dog," he replied, rolling his eyes and taking her hand in his.
"Now feed me, I'm hungry." He sat down in his chair and, with a quick motion, pulled her onto his lap.
"Ahh," she exclaimed, slapping his chest lightly. "What are you doing? The door is still unlocked."
"No one comes in without knocking." He said, settling her more comfortably on his right thigh.
Adhira rolled her eyes at him, mimicking his earlier gesture. "Someone just did, a minute ago."
"Touché, uski toh gaand tootegi aaj," he wrapped one arm around her waist and the other around her thighs, securing her onto his lap.
[He's going to get his ass kicked today]
Adhira raised an eyebrow, her lips pulled up in a straight line. This man curse a lot.
"Khilao na," he said, his eyes twinkling in mischief as he looked up at her.
[Feed me]
She sighed, made a bite and lifted it to his mouth. Vikram took the bite from her, his eyes closing briefly as he savored the taste.
"Uhm, Aloo gobhi hasn't tasted this good before," he whispered, almost moaning at the taste.
"Really?" She raised an eyebrow, clearly cringing at his reaction. "Absolutely."
He leaned closer, his breath warm against her ear. "I didn't think something so simple could taste so extraordinary. You have got some really good cooking skills."
Adhira shot him a mock smile, her eyes narrowing. "So cringe of you, Mr. Golu," she replied, shaking her head. "I know I cook decent. You don't need to overdo it."
"Can't help it baby," he smiled, his gaze locked with hers. "When something's this good, it deserves to be praised."
"And it's not about the food only." He whispered flirtatiously, into her ear.
She rolled her eyes, a small smile tugging
at her lips despite her cringing expression."You are getting cheesier by day," Adhira remarked, feeding him another bite.
"Hey Bhagwan, kitni unromantic biwi di hai." He looked up as if complaining to
the god.[Oh God, what an unromantic wife you have given me]
"Unromantic, huh?" Adhira shot him a look. "I'm the one who set up this date,"
she retorted, making another bite for him.Vikram accepted the bite, taking the hold of her wrist. "Why aren't you eating? Did you have your lunch?"
