"Baby, it's more than 15 minutes now."

His voice faltered as he entered the room. His eyes swept over me, staring from the black denim hugging my legs and slowly travelling upward until they landed on the red tank top I wore.

The way his gaze lingered, unblinking, as
if he was still processing this new side of me, told he was parts awe and disbelief.

His eyes were glued to the deep neckline, the curve of my body exposed to his eyes.

"Just five more minutes." I said, turning  my back to him, pretending not to notice the bulge slowly forming in his pants.

My fingers found the gloss on the dresser, and as I dabbed it onto my lips, I'd still feel his stare on me, and the shift in his breath.

He hadn't moved an inch since he entered. His arms crossed in a way that made his black shirt cling to his frame. His jaw set, eyes dark as he watched with an intensity that made my skin tingle.

Tying my hair in a low ponytail, I turned back to face him. "Chalein?"

He shifted in place, his fingers brushing against his jeans as he cleared his throat.

"It's, um, breezy outside," his eyes lowered from mine, and he swiped his tongue over his lips. "You might catch a cold."

I bit back a smile, catching the hint behind his words. I liked this possessiveness.

My eyes flickered to the shirt, his shirt, lying on the bed which I'd placed it to wear over the tank top. Of course, I wasn't planning to go out like this. But the chance to tease him was tempting.

"No, I won't." I replied, holding his gaze for a minute before turning toward the door.

But before I could.

His arm slipped around my waist and he drew me back against his chest. I could feel the heat of his body as he held me in place.

"You and I both know you're not entirely comfortable like this," he whispered, his voice low and rough near my ear.

He tilted his head, his breath warm fanning the skin of my neck as he took a soft inhale.

His lips deliberately traced a slow line up  to my jaw. "Now," he whispered, "if you're done teasing me, put the shirt on so we can go." He pressed a kiss just beneath my jaw, before loosening his grip.

I bet my cheeks are beet red right now, not because of the kiss, but definitely because of his intense gaze.

I hurriedly put on the shirt, and followed him out of the room. As we descended the stairs, Choti Maa stood at the foot of the staircase, waiting with a soft smile.

"Drive safe," she said, as she handed him the keys of the house. "Ji, don't worry." He replied, taking the keys.

"Good night. Don't wait for us. We might be late." He glanced over his shoulder at me, a silent signal to get moving.

I gave Choti Maa a tight, quick hug and muttered a 'good night' before pulling away.

Stepping outside into the cool air night, it hit me again. This was my first time going on a night bike ride. The thrill of being out after ten enveloped me and I could barely contain the grin spreading across my lips.
