EVERYTHING around me became consumed with darkness. i feel as if i'm swimming in it.
drowning in it.
i blink and my eyes strain from the shining of flickering stars. white and yellow speckles of foggy souls encapsulate the world i'm placed in. galaxies swirl around every corner and beyond the horizon that seems to go on for infinity.
i look down at my body and i am nothing but a mist. a fog that looks exactly like the souls that surrounds me.
the foggy souls that embrace me like the cold dew of the early morning does with the flecks of grass.
"you need to get out of here."
"he's coming konomi."
"you don't belong here."
i feel my heart in my chest begin beating irregularly, but my breath is steady.
what do they mean?
who's coming?
i feel a cold chill rush through the space as if it begins to take over. the whispers die out, becoming completely silent now as they flee from my side.
so this is what true silence is like.
it's lonely.
a dark mass begins to flow over the sparkling souls above me. the shadow of a ginormous soul, darker than night itself begins to appear. from the head of its gas like form, a blinding white eye comes to fruition.
my entire body is frozen, i can't take my eyes off of it no matter how hard i try to look away.
"it is good to see you again. it's been far too long since you've entered this domain of mine." it's dark voice booms throughout the plane, feeling it's echo rattle my bones.
the dark voice.
"that is the name you have given me yes. the dark voice is i."
i feel the heat that once flowed through my veins freeze over, leaving me to shiver in this dark presence. it can read my mind.
i try to speak something, anything, but nothing seems to leave my lips.
"silly human. but you are not strong enough to speak here. for i am the ruler here, as you are the ruler of the outside domain."
what am i doing here?
"you are here because you lost control of yourself once again. leaving me to play with you however i please."
i can't see the venomous smile that drips from its tongue, but i can hear it in that horrific voice.
"you have done this once before but those stupid mortal siblings of yours took those memories from you."
