"come on you guys you're wayyyy too slow!" ashido yells back to the boys behind us. i smile up at the girl next to me, her enthusiasm and excitement bring a smile to my face.
"ashido how much further is this place? i'm starvinggg." jirou drags out as her stomach growls at her plea. we all begin to chuckle at the timing and ashido pulls on our arms quicker.
"we're almost there i promise you guys."
i take in the scenery of the bustling sidewalks, filled with people of all different ages, of all different stories within them. the whispers tonight grow quiet as the crowds begin to take over.
i feel at peace in this moment. soaking up everything that surrounds me.
we're both pulled to a halting stop, the neon sign of the ramen shop glowing a bright red and yellow that illuminates the people walking below it in a shade of orange, including us.
"i told you we were almost here! now lets eat up." her bright smile softens towards us as she skips in, letting go of both jirou and i's arm.
we walk into the crowd room filled with people at nearly every booth in the shop. ashido is talking with one of the waitresses and follows behind the girl, she waves towards all of us to follow as well.
the waitress leads us back to a booth next to a window that looks right out onto the sidewalk and street outside.
"someone will be right over to help you guys out in a sec." the waitress smiles towards the group of us and rushes back to take care of other guests. we all begin to file into the booth, myself taking the window seat. i look across from me to see bakugou with a scowl on his face as kaminari seems to be talking his ear off about something.
i watch carefully as his red eyes begin to twitch and a vein pops from his forehead.
"so guys what is everyone going to get!" i try to redirect the yellow haired boys attention from bakugou, in hopes he won't scream in the restaurant.
"ohhh i think i'm going to get," i watch as kaminari scans the menu. "definitely the tonkotsu!"
"ashido what do you recommend?" sero speaks up next to kaminari.
"my fav is the tonkotsu with some spice. it's soooo good!" ashido exclaims next to me, with eiji nodding on her other side.
"i've only been here once before and i really liked the shoyu. so manly."
"hey you guys my name is hinata and i'll be taking care of you tonight. did you guys decide what you were having for tonight?" a smiling waitress comes up to the end of the table, her long brown hair pulled up into a high ponytail that whips around as she looks around at us.
"yeah i think we have!" ashido exclaims as everyone goes around and begins ordering.
"what's the spiciest ramen ya got?" an menacing grin pulls at bakugou's face at the question. the girl looks a bit taken aback by his question for a moment.
