"Wakey, Wakey" Eli was poking my shoulder.
"What. What do you want" I mumbled pushing his finger off me as I nuzzled my head back into Anthony's side. Anthony laughed taking his arm back from around me.
"Come on. Sit up" Robby laughed at my sleepy state. I slowly pushed myself off Anthony and sat up.
"What are you guys doing here" I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes.
"We came as soon as Miguel told us what happened at the movies" Dimitri said, crossing his arms, as he stood In front of me.
"It's not a big deal" I sighed. I knew they would make it into a whole thing when it didn't need to be.
"Cassie, this is the second time he's done this" Eli looked down at me "it is big deal, and they will pay for it this time" I knew what that meant, it meant that now they had another reason to start a fight that would do nothing but cause more problems. This whole thing had been going on for way too long and I was sick of it. I couldn't stand to see them do this again, I hated it so much.
"No it's not!" My voice raised slightly, trying not to yell. " you always do this. All of you. You act like things are worse than they are which leads to more fighting. Everything would be fine if you all would just realize how stupid this is" at this point I was yelling. I stood up from my spot next to Anthony. Mainly yelling at Eli, Miguel, and Robby.
"Cass calm down, that isn't true-" Robby took a small step closer to me trying to place a secure hand on my shoulder.
"It is true! My whole life for the past two and a half years has been nothing but karate and fighting. And that's all on you." I looked at all the boys except Anthony, who had given up on his efforts to calm me down enough to stop yelling and was now just sitting, watching
everything unfold. "If you two would have just gotten along and didn't dig up a feud from 40 years ago, my life would be normal. I wouldn't be sitting here bruised and tired like I have been plenty of times before, so don't act all concerned about me when this is all really your fault." I gave them all one more sharp glare before rushing off into my room slamming the door."Cassie! Cass come on" Anthony and Dimitri hurried over to my door trying to catch me before I inevitably locked them out.
"Cassie, just open the door" Dimitri almost pleaded with me. The three other boys stood at the end of the hallway stupefied by the words that came out of my mouth. "Good job guys" Dimitri turned and rolled his eyes at the three.
I sat on my bed with my head rested on my knees as I started to grasp what I had just said. All of it was true but I knew I shouldn't have said that to them, they were only trying to protect me. I just couldn't act like I agreed with everything anymore. All this fighting is pointless and solves nothing it only gets us hurt. So there was really no reason to regret my words since I one hundred percent agree with them. I just regretted how it made them feel. That's the real reason I locked them out. I just couldn't face them now knowing what I had said. I just couldn't.
"Cassie please" Anthony calmly asked sounding a bit deflated. I hated that too, I wish I could lock everyone out except Anthony. I'd feel better with him next to me I just knew it.
I sat, cooped up In my room for a good 30 minutes before I decided to open the door. slouched against the wall across from me sat Anthony and Dimitri. As soon as they heard the door they sat up, their eyes focused on me. I took a deep breath not knowing what to say.
