The loud booming sound of thunder in this bright daylight, surprised the people in General Bai's Manor. Zhan Chen who was studying with his teacher, running to the window and looked up to the sky.

"Why is it there's a thunder when it's so bright outside?" Zhan Chen turned back to look at his teacher. "Do you know why Teacher Yun?"

Teacher Yun was Zhan Chen's historical teacher. He frowned as he stood beside Zhan Chen, looking up at the lighting sky.

Zhan Chen jumped in surprise. "Gosh, it's so scary ba!"

Teacher Yun kept staring at the thunder lighting filled the sky. If he was not mistaken, that place where the Forbidden City was.

"The Dragon is the Son of Heaven. No one can defy the will of the Son of Heaven. If one day, there is a time a Dragon kneels on the floor for someone beneath him beside his Pheonix, the heaven will be outrage and send its thunders down the earth to show its wrath."

Zhan Chen looked at Teacher Yun and tilted his head in confusion. " What are you muttering about, Teacher Yun?"

"It is a passage from the old book of, 'The Heavenly Dragon' or it also could be interpreted as the Son of Heaven, the Emperor," the history teacher told Zhan Chen. "I wonder if it is really true..."

"Teacher Yun means the Emperor can't kneel to the others?

"Yes. Beside the Pheonix, that is the Empress, the Emperor is forbidden to ever kneel to the other," Teacher Yun frowned even deeper when the thunders kept lighting the bright blue sky. Zhan Chen kept quiet as he watched another thunder made an earth shattering sound. He shuddered in fright and moved away from the window.

The booming sound of the thunder shook the Forbidden City. All the people were surprised by the sudden thunder in the middle of the bright day. Looking outside, they didn't see the signs of rain but the lightning and thunders kept booming.

People started to get scared as they tried to move away from this sudden weird onslaught of phenomenon.

At the same time, Bai Jian Yu and Xian Long Wei were still in stalemate. Emperor Xian still kneeling on the floor with his dark eyes stared straight at the older male's.

"Uncle Bai, please. I do really love Zhan Chen." His voice was firm and filled with sincerity.

Bai Jian Yu wanted to harden his heart and be harsher but seeing the sincerity deep inside those phoenix eyes, he couldn't do it. He understood how Long Wei's feeling was, since he himself had to beg Prime Minister Li Huizhong to marry his wife. He was also being threatened and scolded by his father in law at that time.

Finally, Bai Jian Yu let out a sigh as he pulled the younger man to stand. "The Emperor shouldn't kneel, not to anyone."

Xian Long Wei stood up and felt a bit relief. Bai Jian Yu's face eased, though, it was not too much.

"Uncle Bai..." Long Wei's voice was filled with hope.
