[61] A Father's Heart Is Aching!

After a few months of being busy with wedding preparation, finally only a week was left before the grand wedding between the Emperor and the Great General's only ger son. The news had been spread to the whole empire and citizens also celebrated the incoming wedding along with the winter solstice festival. It was a joyous occasion. This old man was very sad and Zhan Chen could see through his father's bad mood.

After leaving his excited ger son's room, Bai Jian Yu met with his wife who was standing near the room.

"Xiu'er?" Bai Jian Yu was surprised to see his wife here. Wasn't he in the kitchen before?

Bai Xiu Ying stood before his husband and stared into the handsome man's eyes. A minute silence stretched between them before he broke it.
