While Zhan Chen went to change clothes, Emperor Xian went to meet with Lady Bai. He entered the room where a ger servant had guided him.

Bai Xiu Ying smiled at the young emperor, "ah, Long Wei, you come." He gestured at the seat opposite of him, "sit down first."

"Mother, I'm sorry for coming uninvited," Emperor Xian said as he sat down and smiled at the older ger.

Bai Xiu Ying waved his pretty hand carelessly, "what nonsense. We soon will become a family, you can think of this place as your second home."

"Thank you, mother," Long Wei was grateful for the invitation.

"Have you seen Xiao Chen?" Bai Xiu Ying smiled knowingly. Seeing the pleased look on the young emperor, he chuckled lightly.

Xian Long Wei coughed to cover his embarrassment. Ah, how could he be so shameless in front of his soon to be mother-in-law ba? "Chen Chen invited me to drink tea and he himself poured the tea."

Seeing the doting look at the young male, Bai Xiu Ying hummed happily, "how's the feelings? I hope Xiao Chen doesn't make it hard for you. That little ger could be mischievous sometimes."

"No. Chen Chen has been good to me. Our feelings have been growing," Xian Long Wei smiled as he caressed his dragon ring.

Seeing the wishful smile on that handsome young man's face, Bai Xiu Ying understood. "Then, rather than chatting with this old ger, why don't you bring Xiao Chen out?"

"Mother, that is the reason why I came here," Xian Long Wei paused, "I want to ask mother's permission to allow Chen Chen to go out with me. I promise I'll take care of him and bring him home before the sun sets."

Bai Xiu Ying laughed lightly as he shook his head. Seeing the rare nervous look from the young man made him even more amuse. "What are you nervous about? Mother won't stop you from seeing Xiao Chen."

"Go out and you don't have to always ask for my permission. I trust you with my ger son and I believe you won't endanger Xiao Chen."

Just then the door was opened and an adorable young ger beamed happily at the older male.

Bai Xiu Ying softly sighed at his dear ger son and chided him softly at his manner, "Xiao Chen, where is your manner? Mother and Long Wei are talking and you shouldn't intrude like that."

Zhan Chen pouted silently as he apologised, "I'm sorry, mother," he paused, glancing at the young emperor and then looked at his mother, "mother, can I go out with Wei Dage?"

Xian Long Wei just watched as the mother and ger son exchanged words. His entire attention was on that adorable little ger who dressed up just for his eyes to feast. He was slightly proud. His dear little ger was so pretty in that light green hanfu with pure white lilies embroidery. His long hair was let down and a small piece of white pearl hair ornament decorated the side of his hair. Just a simple style but it made his Chen Chen's natural beauty shown.
