Xian Long Wei sat in the horse carriage with a calm face as he caressed the small box in his palms. Inside, he wondered if this was a good choice?

He told Zhan Chen that he would be waiting for him...

The familiar gatekeeper kneeled down to him as he walked to the manor. A few seconds later a housekeeper greeted him and brought him to the west courtyard where Zhan Chen was.

Sitting at the cherry blossom pavilion, Xian Long Wei waited as the housekeeper informed his Chen Chen of his visit. His fingers wrapped around the small box. Putting it on the table, he poured the hot tea prepared by the servant.

He didn't want to be attended by a servant and had them walked out. Waiting for around half an hour, Xian Long Wei thought the young ger perhaps didn't want to see him.

Usually, Zhan Chen didn't let him wait for long but it seemed today was different. But before his mind could conjure more poor situations, a shout of his name, jolted him from his downspiral thoughts.

"Wei Dage!"

Raising his head, he saw a fairy descended from the heaven. Today Zhan Chen looked particularly gorgeous. His phoenix eyes darkened and those fingers on the cup tightened.

Zhan Chen was smiling but inside he was very nervous. Emperor Xian was staring at him. His stare was very scary ba. Even after he took a seat in front of the emperor, the young handsome man was still staring at him.

"Um... Wei dage?" Zhan Chen said softly as he played with his sleeves. Stop staring ba! This little ger is very uncomfortable!

Only when he heard the ger's soft voice calling his name did Xian Long Wei realise that he had been scaring the young ger. He watched the nervous ger and instantly curbed down his desire.

"Sorry for staring. Chen Chen looks so beautiful today."

Hearing the blatant praise from the handsome man, Zhan Chen instantly blushed. He stuttered a thanks. Well, he did take his time to take care of his appearance today. He also did wear a little bit of makeup on his cheeks and lips. And his hair was done meticulously by his personal attendant. He also used the gift from Wei Dage as a decoration on his hair. And this clothes he was wearing, was also the betrothal gift which he loved very much. The hanfu design and color enhanced his already beautiful features.

Zhan Chen was late for thirty minutes because he took time to show his best features for the handsome young emperor.

Of course, Zhan Chen expected a praise!

Zhan Chen shyly looked up and praised the emperor, "Wei dage looks handsome too."

Xian Long Wei smiled and felt the atmosphere was quite good. "Thank you, Chen Chen."

Thus, silence befell the two betrothed.

Both of them spoke at the same time and paused. They looked at each other in silence before Xian Long Wei smiled and told Zhan Chen to speak first.

"That... About that matter," Zhan Chen paused and blushed.

Xian Long Wei gave a firm, "En."

Zhan Chen looked down on the table as he spoke with a soft, shy tone, "These two months, I've thought about my feelings. I've never fallen in love before and this is the first time I feel very strongly towards someone. I don't know if this is love but I know that I at least like Wei dage."

After confessing his feelings, Zhan Chen finally felt relieve. Now, he only needed to hear Emperor Xian's reply. After all, he made the esteemed man wait for him.

For the first time ever in Emperor Xian's life, he almost couldn't control himself from trying to embrace the adorable ger. Fortunately, he still remembered his conduct and control. Though, he couldn't help the slight raise of the corner of his lips.

"I understand. We can slowly discover our feelings after we get married. That's to say, can we decide the date of our marriage?"

Zhan Chen looked panic as he looked up. He was ready to face this nameless feeling but to get married right away? He wasn't ready ba!

Xian Long Wei tightened his grip on the ger's hand but not to the point of hurting. "It's me who's fortunate. Thank you, Chen Chen for liking me. I love you."

Hearing the three words, Zhan Chen combusted in an instant. Hey, hey, hey! Why were they getting more and more embarrassing?! These cheesy words of romance were going to make him embarrass ba!

Xian Long Wei only chuckled. He knew the ger was still shy about sharing their feelings. But, he had waited enough and he just wanted to let the ger know about his feeling and give him the whole world.

A red blushing Zhan Chen replied to the confession in the softest and sweetest voice ever, "I like you too, Wei dage..."
