[35] Bully Changming

"Ming Ge?"

Zhan Chen asked in an unbelievable soft voice. The man in front of him looked different from his memory but the way he called him... Only one person called him 'Xiao Táng'.

That person was Bully Changming.

His bully but also his best brother in the orphanage.

Looking at the taller male up and down, Zhan Chen's wide eyes still couldn't believe it. He looked different from the Bully Changming in his memory but the last time he saw the man was when Changming just turned 18.

The man before him was a full adult. He stared at those deep eyes and saw within those dark colored eyes, unbelieve, grievance, happiness mixed together.

Zhang Changming was full of emotions as his constricted throat squeezed out another, "Xiao Táng."

Zhan Chen who still couldn't believe his eyes and ears, moved forward until he stood in front of the taller male. His wide eyes were watching the other male with disbelief and joy, "are you really Ming Ge? Bully Changming? Who always stole my sweets?"

Zhan Changming who was still surprised, couldn't decide whether to cry or laugh. He finally decided to laugh aloud and rubbed the ger's soft head. "Are you still calling me, Bully Changming? This Ge already turns a new leaf and becomes a kind big brother."

"That Ming Ge..." Zhan Chen then glimpsed a rare surprise from Zhang Liqin's face. He almost forgot that there was another person here. He couldn't talk with Zhang Changming with Zhang Liqin in here. He signalled with his eyes at the other.

It was a familiar way of Zhan Chen when he wanted a help. Zhang Changming chuckled softly and turned to Zhang Liqin, "Mom, I have lots of thing to talk with Xiao Chen. Can you leave us alone?"

Narrowing his eyes at his brat of a son, Zhang Liqin gave a silent warning before he walked out of the office. It was unbelievable but out of all people, his Young Master only remembered his son. That was the reason he decided to let the two talk alone.

At the same time, Zhan Chen couldn't help but pounced at the other male. He was so happy that someone he knew from his world was here. Now, he wouldn't feel like he was alone again.

Zhang Changming just let the ger hugged him before he too wrapped his arms around the smaller body. How he had missed him these whole years. "I missed you."

Zhan Chen hummed in agreement before he let go and forced Zhang Changming to let go of his arms as well. "How come you are here? Besides, why didn't you come and see me all those years after you leave?"

Zhang Changming felt guilty as he scratched his head unconsciously. He then began to tell his story about how he had found his aunt from his mother's side and the family helped him until he became a successful individual. But, when he wanted to go and find him, he found out that he had a brain cancer. It was too late when he found out about it. The cancer was at the late stage and he had to live in the hospital for months.

"I really wanted to find you, Xiao Chen ah. But, I didn't have time. I'm really sorry. I'd been confined in the hospital for months." Zhang Changming said regrettably. He really regretted for not being able to see Zhan Chen for the last time.

Zhan Chen who heard the real story behind his brother's reason for not seeking him finally heaved a relief sigh. He didn't forget him, that was really good. But... Then, his eyes widened in realization, "Then, you... That means, Ming Ge was..."

"Ah, you're right, Xiao Chen. I died in our world and got reborn in this world. I've been in this world for twenty years." Zhang Changming said and asked the other, "how did you get here, Xiao Chen? Did you also..."

Chuckling, Zhan Changming patted the other's soft hair. "Why? You're so cute and many would like you. Ming Ge also--"

Before he could finish his words, there was a knock on the wooden door. Both the males glanced at the door and Zhang Changming walked to open the door. He then saw a man a bit taller than him and rumored to be the most handsome in this empire.

"Your Majesty?" What was the emperor doing in here? Zhang Changming quickly kneeled down and looked back to signal Zhan Chen to kneel down as well.

Before Zhan Chen could kneel down, the Emperor walked forward and grasped the ger's thin shoulders.

"It's fine. Stand up. Both of you don't have to kneel down." As Xian Long Wei said this, he didn't even give a glance to the other man in the room. He smiled softly at the bewildered young ger. "How are you, Chen Chen?"

"Wei Dage, ah! I mean Your Majesty!" Zhan Chen quickly amended his wording. It was fine to call the Emperor's name when they were alone but there was another person here. He glanced at Zhang Changming who had stood and looked bewildered at the two.

Xian Long Wei chuckled and rubbed the ger's soft head. "It's fine to call me that, as long as there's no one beside me and your family."

"Ah, that remind me," Zhan Chen smiled and gestured to the ignored Zhang Changming, "Wei Dage, this is Ming Ge. He is my older brother. Ming Ge, I'm sure you already know that this is His Majesty the Emperor."

Emperor Xian Long Wei then glanced at the other man in the room and gave a slight nod. Not even a smile could be seen from his face. He was so different when he talked to Zhan Chen, just like an earth and sky.

Zhang Changming had a weird feeling. He felt like the Emperor was purposely ignoring him. The moment he entered the room, he could feel the chill from the man. He bowed cautiously at the highest being, "Zhang Changming greeting His Majesty. I've known Zhan Chen since he was little baby and he's like a little brother to me."

After he talked, he could feel cold wind blowing from the esteemed man. Uh-uh, did he offend the Emperor? Why did the man look at him like he was merely an ant?

Besides, what's the relationship between Zhan Chen and the Emperor? Why the Emperor looked so close with Zhan Chen?

Xian Long Wei saw the silent question from the other man, pulled the unguarded ger and clasped his hand with the other's soft ones. "Oh, didn't Chen Chen tell Mister Zhang? We're betrothed."
