"First day of senior year!" Alex exclaims, jumping out of her bed.
"I know that's right!" Sam yells, going into the bathroom.
"High School is about to be over for good!" Clover screams, spinning around the living room. "We're about to have the best first day of senior year ever!"
~~~~~~~~~~~
"I'm going to miss wearing whatever I want instead of the Gotham Academy uniforms," Clover complains, walking to the newly built Gotham Academy. "At least I get to see daily videos of Lucky. Her little five-month-old self can babble now."
"Aww!" Sam and Alex coo, looking at Clover's videos of Lucky babbling with her rattle.
"I have a good feeling about this-year? Where am I?" Alex asks, looking at her surroundings and finding brown furniture, books, and weird artifacts. "Hello-AH!"
"So you're the one disturbing the Order of Earth?" Dr. Fate questions, appearing in front of Alex. "Do you know what you've done to the balance?"
"No? Who are you?" Alex asks, looking at the helmet.
"I am Dr. Fate, and you must end your relationship with Klarion. It's unnatural and poses many dangers to the Earth," Dr. Fate says, shocking Alex.
"WHAT? Why do I have to break up with him now? We've been dating for almost two years," Alex argues, standing up and crossing her arms.
"To be entirely honest, I thought he would've broken up with you at this point, but I was very wrong. So, I have to take matters into my own hands and stop this relationship for the betterment of Earth."
"Oh, please, how bad can us being together be?"
"Very bad. First of all, the result of your relationship would produce the next Chaos Lord with an organic body and no need for a host to be on Earth. Second, your romance has caused multiple disasters on Earth already. Third, your relationship has caused Klarion's body to progress to a new point that even I couldn't have seen coming. It's unnatural for him to grow up. He's always supposed to be Klarion the Witch Boy."
"None of those things really seem bad."
"Well, they are."
"Not my problem. That's just not my problem."
"Then I'll end the problem."
Dr. Fate's hands produce light, engulfing Alex and making her disappear.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh my God! Dad, Alex disappeared right in front of us, and all that was left was golden light!" Clover cries, sitting with Artemis, Sam, and Zatanna as she's on a call with her stepfather.
"Well, it sounds like Dr. Fate wanted something with her. I wouldn't get involved if I were you. The spirit possessing that helmet is pretty well, stubborn for a lack of better words," Hal replies, holding a sleeping Lucky.
"But we've gotta do something!" Sam exclaims, looking at a photo of Alex.
"Where's Alex?" Klarion asks tears about to burst from his eyes. "Where is she?!"
~~~~~~~~~~~
"What did you do to her? I can't sense her anywhere on Earth!" Klarion screams, appearing in Dr. Fate's tower.
"I put her away. Somewhere where you could never find her," Dr. Fate replies, looking at the witchboy.
"Bring her back! She's the only thing I cared for this much on Earth besides Teekl!" Klarion cries, going to his knees. "Bring her back! I beg of you!"
