An orange cat and a witch boy

Today is the day Gotham Academy has a field trip since its destruction. Luckily, part of the money won from the cheerleading competition went to getting school buses for the field trip.

"Alex, come on! The field trip to the Hall of Justice is today!" Sam yells, waking Alex. "Your lunch is on the counter."

Alex rises from her bed and sees an orange cat with brown stripes on her bookshelf.

"Oh my god! A kitty witty!" Alex squeals, picking up the friendly ginger. "Aw, how'd you come in here?"

The orange cat meows and rubs Alex's cheek.

"What's your name, buddy?" Alex asks, scratching the back of his head.

The orange cat points to a quote poster on the wall.

"T-E-E-K-L? Teekl? Your name's Teekl?" Alex questions, cradling the cat.

The orange cat nods its head and purrs in affirmation.

"Oh, what a cute name!" Alex coos, petting Teekl's back. "I guess I'm taking care of you for the rest of the day."

Alex carries Teekl into the bathroom and sets her down to change. Alex gets herself ready and then hides Teekl in her heart-shaped backpack. She leaves the zipper open for air and puts a piece of food into her bag for Teekl. The spies go to the meetup spot and greet the rest of their classmates.

"Hello, everyone! I'm Flash, and I will be your tour guide for your trip to the Hall of Justice," Flash says, waving at all the Gotham Academy students. "Batman was supposed to be my co-guide, but he couldn't make it. So, Superman is going to be your co-guide."

Bruce's eyes twitch at the Batman comment.

"Alright, so we're first going to take a tour of the magical artifacts the Justice League has gathered from missions," Flash says, leading the tour group. "First, we have a spellbook from the medieval ages."

Teekl begins to move inside the backpack. Alex tries to ignore her.

"Teekl! Teekl, where are you?" Klarion yells, wandering the streets of DC.

Klarion waves his hand in the air, and his eye turns red with cat-like slits. He sees everything Teekl sees, which isn't a lot considering she's in a backpack.

"Did my little Teekl get taken to the pound?" Klarion shrieks, scared for his kitty. "Teekl, meow if you're ok!"

"MEOW!" Teekl loudly meows, making everyone on the tour silent.

"Well, looks like a DC stray made its way inside," Flash jokes, not noticing the embarrassed look on Alex.

Teekl unzips Alex's backpack and pops her head out. Everyone stares at Alex.

"Uh, who's your little friend there?" Superman asks, knowing good and well who the cat is.

"Apparently, her name is Teekl. It's very adorable and sounds like tickle," Alex answers, letting Teekl lick her cheek. "She was in my room, and I couldn't leave her."

A collective groan comes from everyone.

"Alex, that's not an ordinary cat! That's Klarion's familiar!" Sam exclaims, facepalming at her friend's innocence.

"And if you kindly give us Teekl so you're not running around with a magical cat all over DC," Superman suggests, slowly approaching Teekl.

Teekl's hair stands up, and she begins to hiss at Superman.

"It's ok, kitty. I won't hurt you," Superman says, squatting down to Alex's level.

Teekl lets out a fierce hiss, and suddenly her body swirls into the air. Her body goes into Alex's back. Suddenly, her and Alex's bodies are fused together. Alex has brown stripes on her face, and her eyes are red. Her nails are long claws, and there are ginger ears on top of her head. Alex hisses at Superman and tries to swipe him.

"Everyone follow me!" Flash says, letting Superman handle the Teekl-fused Alex.

"Stay away!" Alex hisses, crouching down on the floor.

"Teekl, get out of her body," Superman commands, floating near Alex.

"I'm talking, not Teekl! Stay away from the kitty!" Alex yells, her hair standing up.

"Alex, you're not thinking clearly," Superman says, trying to approach Alex.

Alex hisses, showing her cat-like teeth, then teleports away. Once she's away from the Hall of Justice, Alex stands on the streets of DC. She closes her eyes, and Teekl comes out of her body.

"Wow, that was pretty cool, Teekl!" Alex compliments, holding the cat in her hands.

Teekl meows in response and jumps to the sidewalk, leading Alex somewhere. Teekl leads Alex to a park bench, jumping in the middle. Alex sits on the right side of Teekl, waiting for whatever reason Teekl brought her here. A red flash of light appears in front of Alex, and Klarion appears.

"So you're the one who found my Teekl?" Klarion says, glaring at Alex.

"Um, yeah! She showed up in my room, and I took care of her for the day," Alex explains, smiling at Klarion.

"I see...thanks for not letting those annoying heroes take her," Klarion says, trying to hide his worry.

"No problem! I'd do anything to protect a kitty like her," Alex coos, petting Teekl. "I suppose you're Klarion?"

"Yep. Klarion the Witch Boy," Klarion answers, holding Alex's hand.

The two teens float in the air. Red magic surrounds them. Teekl smiles at them happily.

"What are you?" Alex says, looking into Klarion's eyes.

"The most chaotic thing known to man," Klarion says, his body levitating higher.

Teekl jumps into the air and pounces on Klarion's head. He loses concentration on his magic, and falls on top of Alex. Their lips connect, surprising both Alex and Klarion. Red magic comes from their lips, and they are suddenly in Alex's room. Teekl watches the two teens with a smile on her furry face. Klarion gets off of Alex and glares at Teekl. His pale skin is red.

"Teekl! Why did you do that?" Klarion shrieks, about to fight a cat.

"Meow! Meow!" Teekl responds, which translates to, 'I'm helping you get a relationship, you virgin!'

Teekl and Klarion bicker for a while, then Oinky and Alex stop the argument.

"I see you also have an animal companion with you. He's an odd choice, but I respect it," Klarion says, looking at the pig.

"Thank you, he's a very good pig. I feel like he'd get along with your Teekl," Alex says, letting Oinky and Teekl sniff each other.

Klarion coughs and summons an amulet with a small red stone around Alex's neck.

"If you want to find me and shake up your life a bit. Just ask for me, and it'll summon me to you. Again, thanks for taking care of Teekl. She means a lot to me."

"No problem. Uh...bye."

"Bye..."

Klarion leaves her room while arguing with Teekl. Both teens think about Teekl's orchestrated kiss between them.

"His lips were soft..."

"Her lips tasted like cherries..."
